Found this B&B whilst looking for a place to stay during a bike trip through Spain & Portugal.

We finally found the house, sat nav was spot on, though it's a little out of the town. The host was so friendly, accommodating our 5 motorbikes and showing us to our rooms, all of which were clean, with individual air conditioning. The house has some beautiful views, and it's very quiet.

She was able to arrange a taxi into town for us, and with it being quite a small town I think taxis are scarce!

Breakfast was a real homely feel, with scrambled eggs or boiled eggs cooked if needed.

Would be a great place to stay as a central base!

Host couldn't do more for us! Great Stay

I was traveling for work with a couple of colleagues and we happened upon this place. It's just on the edge of town, outside Mogadouro. What a great decision to stay here! Our host was very attentive, and the rooms were very clean each with its own bathroom, and shower. The bed was a single but very comfortable. There was breakfast in the morning starting at 8am. Meats, cheeses, breads, coffee and juice. The guest house itself is very beautiful and maintained. If i ever happen to be in this part of the world again, I am staying here.

Guesthouse

A B&B sat in a great location with beautiful views on the edge of Mogadouro. We were on a motorbike tour of Spain and Portugal and this place is on the end of some great roads from the Picos Mountains in Spain. 
Rooms are full of local furniture and are perfect, great hammock on the balcony. Ensuite bathrooms for all but two rooms. We have 13 people in the house and there is one huge suite for a family of four as well. 
They really looked after us, took me to get some beer and wine in the local village, and the gave us all lifts in their cars to the Restaurante Estoril in the centre of the village, even the Chef Maurice gave us lifts back! No charge!
When we arrived there was a smell of fresh baking which was was gorgeous, preparing small cakes for breakfast... Yum
The breakfast was a great spread of homemade jams and cakes as well as the usual continental plus lovely scrambled eggs.
The Restaurante Estoril looked very plain on the outside but inside was wonderfully laid out with an open kitchen in the corner were you can see everything made. 
With the obligatory local cheese and olives to start we were assailed with huge platters of veal chops (Maurice used an axe to cut them up). They were big with roast potatoes and ceps/mushrooms in a lovely gravy, a few veg made an appearance. The chops were so big and tasty and with desert wine and coffee we paid €20 a head, unbelievable value. Maurice had trained in France and spoke several European languages but not English, however this did not matter.

So if touring on push bikes, motorbikes or in a car this is a lovely place to chill out, with a great place to in town and I am sure there others. After a day of some of the most stunning riding and scenery coming down from Leon it was almost too much for the senses!!
