The neighbourhood is in the middle of nowhere, it's de facto not in the city of Ponta Delgada. There's a supermarket in the area and that's all there is. There's nothing to dispute that it's obviously a worker's neighbourhood. But unfortunately this will be hidden when booking on the website and the price is too high for it. The room was too cold in Ponta D. In the winter. A heating was guaranteed on the website, but you tried to get it extended and it was an e-oil radiator that took a corresponding amount of time until it was hot. The space on the other hand was fashionable.

They have a different but still very interesting way of operation. It is like you have the place just for yourself. You get your room key, and the back door key. For sure a place to stay in our next trip to Azores. Very close to the airport.

Real nice concept

We spent 4 nights there (31/07 and then 4/5/6 August 2013) at the end of a 4-week trip to the Azores archipelago. The price ratio is very good (comfortable and spacious rooms, a pleasant breakfast). The young manager, Tiago, who took over the hotel just two months ago, is very dedicated and makes efforts to ensure a good stay.

Good address

The person we had was quite friendly but didn't speak French and hadn't warned us about the transfer price. Also, she lacked professionalism: not getting up in the morning to make breakfast, the same young man started preparing them at the time when he should have taken us to the airport knowing that we told him the day before he was leaving that we had to call the same person from our plane. It was on his cell phone and then we had to call him and now we have to worry about the airport!!!

Good, but with bad surprises at the last minute!

A very clean establishment. Comfortable rooms at a very attractive price. Shuttle service to the airport by the owners for 7€. Note: no restaurant in the vicinity except a snack in the Sol Mar supermarket 10 minutes walk (but no restaurant in the evening) and a small snack in the industrial area after the supermarket.

Good plan near the airport

This year I was back again in Sao Miguel for my fourth trip. I choose again this Guesthouse-Bed & Breakfast because it is so close to the airport and just few minutes form Ponta Delgada. It is a cheap and comfortable accommodation, rooms are spacious and always very clean. Breakfast simple but abundant. There is also free WiFi in all rooms. They have a pick up service at the airport that is very necessary if come here the first time. They asos provided to rent a car for me and I had it just under my room waiting me.

Back Again in Azores

Hotel low price, clean and pleasant good price/quality ratio. A warm welcome and a proprietor who speaks a little French. 10 minutes from the airport.

I returned to this guesthouse after two other stays several years ago. Surely one of the best solutions for how close to the airport, in the city center of Ponta Delgada and at a really unbeatable price. Clean, spacious rooms. Breakfast reduced a little to essentials. Great free shuttle service to and from the airport. They made me find the rental car directly in the parking lot of the guesthouse and also this one at a really low price compared to this one was possible to find at the airport.
