High music and noise everywhere! The management doesn't seem to want to know about the many parties (I counted 6 at least!) with loud music around the park - since the money keeps coming in.... Of course, it's disrespectful of whoever puts the music but also disrespectful of the park management because they didn't have to turn it off. They asked me for 100 euros bail but I feel like I should have asked for a bail at the park. They didn't meet the minimum of tranquility expected!

Noise and quietness

I give three stars for location, facilities and hygiene and general staff. Other than that, I've never seen a park where there was such a huge disregard for the rules and a park so incapable of enforcing them. Park is noisier at night than during the day. Night rest is to forget. Cars circulate at any speed and time. They allow installation of equipment at any time. Parties multiply throughout the park at night inside, it's impossible to rest. It was the last time I camped here.

Good facilities, no rules

We really like the Montargil Orbitur Park. The bungalows are great with everything we need and the view over the river is phenomenal. I'd like to go back in the summer to enjoy the park's swimming pool and the beach.

The weekend

There's a lot of noise all over the park, you can't rest a single moment in the park. Whether it's night or day, music all the time. It's like I went to a festival without knowing it! At night you can't have a rested meal and the silence instead of being at 11 p.m. lasts through the night inside. It's very sad because it's such a beautiful area of Portugal to get to know, but it's better to choose another place to stay.

It's too loud.

Really disappointed with this campsite, the reception and the services offered are expensive especially the restaurant or the team organization is really not at the top, we ate a chicken in the oven at 7€ we waited a long time and it was cold and not very good... fries frozen.

Average

I think the big reason why Orbitur parks are usually full occupancy is because of the fame. The most negative part of the park was the cleanliness and hygiene, which was minimal. As positive parts is the proximity of several cities/villages like Montargil, Mora, Abrantes and Ponte-de-Sor. There is a playground, swimming pool and baths. The stay was reasonable, but for the price to pay could be better.

Reasonable

Noise, noise and more noise. Some quietness between 1am and 7am.  After 7am some crazy bunch on the opposite margin of the lake starts pumpin techno-hangover music non-stop so you can ear it from Australia. Inside the park 1 in every 4 tents has music playing like a family disco and screaming like crazy on top of that. And nobody gives a damn. Between breakfast and dinner, several jetskis strugle in a noise competition. The nearby access to lake is packed with jet skis altough they are forbiden. On a long weekend (10-13 July) with foreseable hot weather (35ºC) ice run out definitely on saturday morning. Needs refurbishing, good camping management, noise control, rules enforcement and lots of training in client service. The landscape is wonderful.

Very high prices for the conditions, the mattresses are super uncomfortable (photo attached), the entrance to the bungalow smelled very bad lack of cleaning, the cabinets were in need of some maintenance.

Weakness

The park is very nice, but the staff is terrible, the management doesn't know how to pass information, especially a boy named Rafael, impatient, conflicted and that lack of education with my husband was out of the ordinary, I don't recommend.

Disappointed

We were two adults and one child. I really liked the pool and the cleanliness of the toilets. We went with a tent and set up on easy terrain. I didn't appreciate the bar, it's not staffed and the food is very much like that and expensive. The super is also really very weak. I really disliked one employee in particular: Rafael.
