Clean and modern studio with small terrace with views towards the river. The apartments of our friends more spacious but without the terrace. The key collection from the office is located 4-5 mins walk from the apartments. Really friendly and helpful staff who can also offer a discount on the Yellowbus sightseeing tours.

Pleasant apartment, centrally located.

The TV solo has 2 channels in Spanish in the international channels and then the Portuguese. The wifi solo was mediocre on the first day. The kitchen windows have no protection from the midday sun, I suppose in winter thanks to the sun, but in summer thanks more to a curtain or an estor that protects you to be able to cook. The floors are almost all wooden, because being in an old area does not allow them anything else, but you hear everything: the neighbors next door when they open the door, they walk when and even when they go up the stairs, especially when they do it at night. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The bed in the room was quite comfortable.

Through 2 emails we agreed to check in at 15.30, but when we arrived at the address and at the agreed time we found a ticket where we had to pick up the keys to a tourist office half a km up the hill (20 August 34 degrees with suitcases). But the apartment had not been cleaned yet so only at 18.00 we were able to enter.

Let it go.

We had not been informed that the keys would be at a different address. The girl at the reception had some difficulty speaking English. Although we had requested the parking lot and the girl at the reception had even assigned us a number at a garage near the apartment, when we arrived the place was not there because the parking lot was complete. We were then kidnapped at a very narrow multi-storey public parking lot and far from the apartment. The sofa bed was partially usable: one of the two parts was broken and not even our 9-year-old son could sleep. We had to fix up with the remaining beds.

It's just a great position. Everything else is definitely improving.

When we arrived after the office was closed, our keys were waiting for us in a safe whose codes the office had given us, a few days earlier by e-mail after contacting us to know our arrival time. The next day we checked in at the office where we had plenty of information and advice for visits.

Very good accommodation in the historic district of Porto

There's a vase, towel, laundry, soap, even oil and spices. A wonderful view from the balcony (our room was 3b).

Our apartment in Rua du sol, to begin with, has the reception in Otra calle (Entreparedes), a 5-7 minute walk, something that had not been communicated to us in the mail. Still the location is very good but like almost any place in Porto, since it is a city manageable on foot. The building enters with a code, and there is no elevator. For us it was no problem but it is something to consider if you are going with a lot of luggage or small children. The entrance door to the apartment is paper, fragile, not very secure. The furniture does not go right, and the mattress is very bad, foam, if it is quite so. The walls are also extremely fine, or we can make a noise to the neighbor.

Justito with a good location.

Very nice apartment in the Rúa del Sol, near the University of Cinema, at the terminus of the old tram line No. 22. Jessica's smiling welcome immediately made us comfortable for our first stay in Portugal.

It's a beautiful apartment.

- Poor security : No staff present at any time and flimsy locks installed on apartment doors. 

- Poor service : No one at the property to greet us and open the door. Phone number on small card pinned to the door didn't work. We had to walk for ten minutes to their office in the rain. 

- Poor furnishings : Poor quality bedding smelt as if someone had slept in it previously. 

- Poor fixtures : cheapest appliances including a dangerous electric kettle that scalded one of us. 

- Poor WiFi - The WiFi didn't work for three days after arrival even though we reported it to them. Better bring a data sim card with you or pay for data roaming if you want to stay connected. 

- Miniscule TV - TV screen is the size of a small microwave. Channels are all in German.. Spent ages trying to find an English one without luck. 

- Dangerous electrics : regular power socket located in bathroom next to the sink. 

- No service : Apartment wasn't cleaned during our stay and no fresh towels provided. They even expect you to take away the rubbish on the last day.. 

- No Lift - Several flights of steep steps are the only way up to the rooms.  If you have regular airline weight check in luggage expect a difficult ascent. 

- Not a hotel : The name is deceptive. 

We were glad we survived and extremely happy to leave. 

Terrible 

It all started upstairs, a few days before the trip when we were asked about the time of arrival, at the time we booked a shuttle to the airport hotel, we felt taken care of #comfort. on the day we arrived at the airport it rained some fine ropes everything is organized. And well no one is waiting for us at the exit, we had to call and go around the terminal to find the baby boat that was leaving half an hour later. This one leaves us in front of the reception which only opens at 10h, so wait with our 15 months in the rain always... We learn that early in is not possible at 15.30.
