Praia Da Vitoria

Terceira is an island that can be easily toured by car, very rich in really interesting places, natural swimming pools and some sandy beaches. The villages are neat and beautiful to photograph. The place is beautiful, close to the airport and ferry boat, very neat is typical in stone-washing, only a little warm the balcony. BBQ available and I use kitchen. The owners are very kind and available: excellent base.

Other, not further worked than cut

It is a very nice, comfortable and pleasant quintet.The room is clean, just like the bathroom.The breakfast is good, they have fruit, milk, cereals, bread, various types of homemade jams, very good.And it has a very nice terrace and you can see the garden with all kinds of vegetables and trees.

Good choice 

If you look for a serenity and love rural setting, this the place. The service is perfect, the staff is beyond nice and accommodating.
Quinta dos Figos offers a variety of fully equipped nicely decorated town houses and aparments. 
The place is only 20 minutes walk/5 minutes drive from Praia da Vitoria town. The ocean pools Porto Martins are also very close. 
The staff can recommend a variety of attractions and tours around the island.


Peaceful and comfortable

A farmhouse with picturesque buildings, with great tranquility, a very beautiful view and a good breakfast. Very friendly and attentive staff and owner. Figo (the farmhouse dog) kept my daughter very company. The bedrooms and bathroom are very spacious. I will definitely come back for sure.

Very picturesque and welcoming

On the fifth two figs you feel at home or better!!a traditional house with a lot of charm, a lovely estate and an exceptional treat with all sorts of amenities.Impossible to forget the homemade biscuits of every day, the owners are lovely including figs, the dog that every day welcomes us!if we return to the third rehearsal!!

A real home.

We were very welcomed, we were able to change rooms to move from a small house to a room for two. We were able to use the common kitchen, a refrigerator for the visitors. The wifi works mainly at the level of the common dining room. We also used the laundry and dry laundry for leisure. Breakfast is very good with a home cake every day, grilled bread, juice, coffee, tea... Fish kitchen every evening thanks to the supermarket Guarita in Praia da Vitoria. The garden allows you to eat strawberries. Jessica who does the service is on the small care, possibility of a small lunch advisory very early if necessary (airport, early departure trail). A very convenient interior (attention to the exit from the concave mirror to see to the right and right). The owners of the house are very pleasant and have a very good memory of the main time, but a very nice and decent dining room.

Very welcoming

It's a nice clean place to stay. 
It's very quiet, lots of space, wonderful view. 
It's near the airport and Praia da Vitória. Very easy to get to the VR which is a good connection to Angra.
The owner is very friendly and proud of the place, always available to help when he's at the place. The ladies supporting the business need some more training. 
It has a vegetable garden where you can pick some vegetables to do a soup at the kitchenette available.
The breakfast is always the same. They can improve a lot with some local products- yogurts, bolo levedo, more fruit (strawberries from their vegetable garden) different cakes, etc.
Some rooms are not suitable for toddlers. They can easily climb the stairs to the mezzanine.
It has a nice price quality ratio. Worth the visit.

Nice quiet place to stay

A typical village house. In the yard there is a small parking lot and viewing area, you can see the town of Praia da Vitoria and the ocean. It's quiet. We had a separate entrance room, inside everything old, in full compliance with expectations. It seemed that we were the only guests in a large enough house. The maid-girl only came in the morning to prepare breakfast. Breakfast did not meet my expectations: we lacked the usual Portuguese food (bread, cheese, juice). As for the location: without a car away from the airport, and from the port, and from the nearest town. You must rent a car in Terceia, and on all the other islands, but my average islands are high for rent.

Home in the village

This was our first stop on our 4-island visit...for 2 nights. Alexandra was a gracious and efficient host. Despite her lack of English and our total lack of Portuguese, we communicated well using Google translate. Our apartment was spacious and comfortable...part of a large stone farmhouse broken up into 5 apartments and all remodeled inside. The setting is a working farm at the edge of the village of Cabo da Praia...quiet and comfortable.
We were there in early April and the apartment had no heat. It was okay and we had plenty of blankets, but if it had been colder outside it might have been chilly. We were fine, however.
Breakfasts were very good. A rental car on Terceira is a must, and Quinta dos Figos has ample parking. 
In-room Wifi was not working when we were there, but it was off-season, and we were told it is turned on during the summer season. It was available in the dining area.

A great little lodging in a small hamlet

A little difficult to find, but once my mother and I found it we were glad we did. The young lady who works there is very kind and was excited to practice her English with us. She says she's not very good with it, but she was being very modest and her English is wonderful and her hospitality is even better. Very quiet grounds, the central courtyard was absolutely blooming with nature and flowers, there was a scenic platform that you could ascend stairs to get to, chickens in surrounding areas which gave it a lovely old-world feel, two friendly kittens were prancing about the courtyard and the cottages were extremely charming.

 Our only wish was that we could have stayed a bit longer (the price was also a little high) and that there were more restaurants nearby, but it was definitely a pleasant and restful experience regardless. Not really great for business trips, the only wifi is in the breakfast room (which is open at all hours) but if technology isn't top priority to you then I would recommend, and would love to come visit again in the future~
