Hotel located in the centre of Quarteira on the beach, next to the covered market and all the shops on foot. It is a bit old but very clean and atypical (common terraces with tables and umbrellas + solarium on the roof overlooking the ocean). The staff is very kind and attentive. The off-season price is very economical (40 €) double air-conditioned room with large bathroom and breakfast (simple, but included in the price). Good Wi-Fi connection. Very good drop point to discover the area with a good price ratio at this time.

Simple but good.

We stayed at this hotel for a vacation, it has a very strategic location for those who want to visit the Algarve. The owner Mr. Giorgio is of a unique kindness, available and cordial in everything. Basically it is a very simple hotel with an equally simple breakfast but for us who went back only to sleep it was great because we went around a lot. Outside the rooms there is a terrace with very pleasant tables and chairs after a day spent around. The only negative note is the lady of the cleaning that besides rearranging the room if she finds a pajamas that unpleasantly for the haste is not folded it places it where everything happens rolled, and then starts at 8 in the morning to mess up and wakes everyone to knock on the doors of the sinkets, because the person next to the room 34 is located near the shoulder pads, so the rest of the lady's shoulders are not included.

Beach District

On our recent honeymoon we stayed at this hotel as wanted a place near the beach and as basic as possible. Rooms etc were fine. Can’t fault that. We stayed for 12 nights and 2 nights before we left I noticed that my wedding ring (2 weeks old!!) had gone missing from the bathroom shelf. We looked through the whole apartment and found nothing. We asked the lady who owns the hotel if we could look through the rubbish bags as we suspected maybe the cleaner had thrown it by accident. She said the rubbish had gone. We never accused anyone of stealing it just maybe it was moved during the room being clean. As we left there was no apology, no asking if we had found it and no offer of compensation. 
I contacted Gonçalo at the company we booked it through. After the third email to him he told me basically “The wonders say the cleaner never took it and I drank too much so maybe I lost it then” it was my honeymoon and I was only intoxicated once on the trip. The week before this all happened. In fact I was in my room for the 2 days with a upset stomach prior to this with the ring on the shelf. 
I’ve never been so upset as I am now. Accused of being drunk and losing my ring. I never wore my ring to the beach and it only came out in evenings for when we went for food.

Well what can I say!

This establishment is not at all what you want to think. Two separate rooms, small, dark and poorly equipped. Bathtub with shower, TV of another age, climate to see....not to mention the uninsulated window to replace.....Little bed of 140. We asked to change. Surprise....looked on a wall one meter away from the old unseaworthy wooden window. Two separate rooms not very wide, a TV of another age with payment in Portuguese, Laints worked.

Beside the beach, fish and fruit market, lovely restaurants, a short walk to Vilamoura. 3 ladies looking after you. Where would you get it! The village of Quarteria has everything you need for a quiet or busy break.

Almost perfect

We stayed, indeed we were supported in this bad place unfortunately for 11 nights bugged by the reviews of others...I don't know how they manage to live who reviewed this place well. We don't know how many times we redistributed the owner for the bad cleaning of the bathroom (full yellow urine coverwater who knows how long it's been cleaned, black tub of fat, TV wathson of 5€, rumors from the windows of 1945 (World War) breakfast always the same butter and marmalade...(very scarce) all for 55€ a night in mid-September, of which one night I don't get billed in one more day.

Holidays

We arrived on September 1st, the person who received us, a 85-year-old lady, didn't speak French. This lady made us understand that the room we had reserved since April) was not open until 2 days later she put us in a room of about 9 square meters with a bed of 130 cm. The mattress was very hard, we could barely move around the room, the night we heard a lot of noise, although we put our balls on. The next night we realized that he was missing a tile in the last window. We reported it, but the housekeeper said she didn't sign it. We were surprised when we passed 2 nights in the room.

Very noisy holidays

everything you need - clean rooms with old but super neat interior, friendly, welcoming and likeable service, cosy roof terrace where you can spend your evening, supermarket next door and right next to the beach. 10 minutes walk to the bus terminal where public busses leave in different directions (Faro airport, different cities and beaches)

A small hotel in the heart of Quarteira, next to the market and 20 meters from the beach. It is an old hotel without many requirements but with the treatment and kindness of the lady who runs it that makes you look great in it. Economical price (40€) double room with breakfast included. It also highlights the cleanliness of the bathrooms and rooms. It has an interior terrace and a solarium on the roof terrace. It also has Wi-Fi in the reception area.
