We love the stay, super welcoming Mr. Elio, wonderful food super hospitable with lovely animals that have delighted the children always available great experience to repeat no doubt.

There's no better place to enjoy nature and clear our minds. An extraordinary space, with highly personalized service and the owner always dependent on the guests. A space with exceptional cleanliness. We love proof of cheese and wine and the home-cooked meals we schedule after booking.

My rating is based on my experience and my evaluation criteria for this type of accommodation. This farm is in a beautiful place with a typical view of grassland and forest. The house is a mixture of traditional shale construction and modern masonry. It is a cozy house, a family home. Mr. Helio, the owner of this guest house is a super kind person, friendly, hardworking and with very good conversation. The animals on the farm are super kind. It was a very good experience, I recommend to everyone.

The best experience in the Serra

More than good! Quiet, friendly, polite and above all, the place is super quiet and beautiful, that sunset! We feel at home and well accompanied. Well, hey! Everyone, even the creatures! What a delight!

Excellent, it has greatly supplanted all expectations, and the site to be reviewed is already in our wishes.

We had two nights in the Quinta, which is just outside Seia and is a good starting point for exploring the national park. The rooms are well-equipped and big enough. The breakfast was extensive, with cheese, cake, bread and jam, everything made by ourselves. The highlight for us was the dinner that you can get on demand. Pre-dinner, salad main course, dessert, all you want, all for 35,-- per person. One day there was lamb, prepared in a wooden oven with potatoes and rosemary. The second day Bacalao was the main course.

This is a fantastic dinner.

Friendliness and hospitality of the owner. Pleasant place in harmony with nature. Located at the entrance of the Serra da Estrela, near the town of Seia. Bedclothes and bath carefully.

We followed the arrow at the Complainant on a Sunday morning, which was obviously closed, but we found the owner, who immediately opened the door and explained and showed us the whole process.

Nice and profitable

Élio is an amazing, warm, funny and welcoming host who charmed us during our three night stay.  Quinta da Cerdeira is a working quinta with cheesemaking facilities onsite.  It is  beautifully decorated, comfortable and located very near the Serra da Estrella national park.  Élio´s sister, Gina, is an amazing cook who uses foods that are grown on the quinta or from local producers.  Gina´s DELICIOUS meals are offered for an small additional price and are a MUST during your stay.  Meals are served family style and the generous portions from starter to dessert and coffee will fill you to the brink with deliciousness!  Breakfast was included in the room price, with daily servings of freshly baked bread, cakes, meat, homemade cheeses, jams, juice and coffee.  Very generous portions are served at all meals!  The rooms are lovely and comfortable with some located downstairs (these have larger bathrooms and showers) and others are situated upstairs with smaller shower units.  Élio welcomed us with open arms and treated us like royalty while at the same time making us feel like family.  We look forward to returning and I highly recommend Quinta da Cerdira for a multiple night while visiting the area.

We made a modest stop at Seia before heading to Serra da Estrela and were delighted with the farm and the artisanal production of cheese.

Ideal for relaxing and spending a quiet weekend near the city centre of Seia and the Serra da Estrela. Rooms with very good conditions and very friendly people, I recommend. With plenty of green space around the whole house with the possibility of walking or cycling.
