Extremely friendly, kind and caring hosts, personal jewelry, family and cozy atmosphere, comfortable and warm rooms, excellent breakfast, excellent value for money, I would recommend any visit to Mr. and Mrs. Manuel.

Sensational, very welcoming hospitality - your super-pleasant and caring husband and wife Manoel and Dona Manuela, cozy room, simple breakfast made with a lot of love - the surrounding countryside passes by a lot of peace and tranquility, a strategic point to get to know the Serra da Estrela.

A welcoming couple - fantastic accommodation

After travelling all over the Algarve and Alentejo in a pandemic, this is the first time that without warning in their offer, they have forced us to present a certificate of vaccination against COVID or PCR test at the pharmacy or have a large fine, so that until we were able to get them online, we spent two very unpleasant and nervous hours after six hours of travel...They also came to the room to call attention to smoking in the room when we were doing it in the bathroom...Three very unpleasant days and tensions have already ended, so surprisingly, at our next stage of the trip to Baiao we no longer ask for a certificate...

Attention: Get a certificate of COVID vaccination.

Two nights in this peaceful place, by a small stream, with charming and very helpful guests, spacious room, good breakfast, and a beautiful pool with large terrace for nice little dinner parties.

A Magical Place

This was a delightful setting in a quiet mountain village.  The scenery was stunning as you were high in the mountains. When traveling there.  The hotel is in the bottom of the valley  with some steep roads.  Hospitality of the hosts was very good.  Lovely pool,  rooms clean and well kept.  Continental breakfast.   Would certainly visit again.

Beautiful location

Home warm perfectly located in a beautiful valley where there are pearls to discover and the lovely couple with little care.

Very pleasant and peaceful

Rural accommodation located in a stunning area. Room and bathroom somewhat dated, but cozy and comfortable (and with adequate heating). Very kind and attentive hosts. They even pointed us to a few places to visit and recommended restaurants and accessed the fireplace only for us. I just can't give out great because of the breakfast that summed up to slices of bread, normal cheese, two qualities of compotes, some butter, barley/chicory and milk (on request). It's a pity not to invest in a breakfast with homemade products and terrace. For a day it was ok, but to make you want a longer stay the monotony of this disappointing breakfast.

Stunning appearance

It is also true that our conditions were many, starting with a stay in the summer (as opposed to what is usual for those looking for the Serra da Estrela), but they had been placed at the height of the reservation months before: a person with reduced mobility and the absolute professional need to have network and internet access. The space, which exists for several decades, is surrounded by a fantastic view. It is rustic and simple as you would expect from rural tourism. It is very lonely and aggressive, guaranteeing an exceptional reservation and quality for relaxation. It has a reasonable pool. And the couple who have access to our own space offers extreme services. But we end up dreaming! We went to a studio.

A Bridge to Nowhere

It's a very characteristic and very comfortable space. The owners are super friendly. We were there at the end of February and in our opinion the heating was too hot and the space could be improved/modernized a little bit. Otherwise nothing to point out. The location is only the best you can find

Very typical and welcoming

I visit the mountain every year and the bridge/river house is very welcoming I had been here in 2010 and I came back in 2017, which I normally don't do because I like to know other places but as I said I wanted to come back I came back again this year.
