Great location, clean comfy rooms.  Get ahead of the shower queues if you can. There's a kitchen for brekky. Really helpful hosts, gave us info on the fishermans trail - invaluable. Don't rely on apple maps to find the hostel - it's well signposted from the bus

Great hostel, recommend it for hikers especially

Location, location, location! Nicolau is very zen, knows the tides and tells you how to get to secret beaches. He is very accommodating of your needs. The bed was comfortable and my shared room was spacey enough for me to do yoga. The bathrooms were also roomy, there was always hot water and complimentary liquid soap. Great collective environment in the hostel, with young travelers sharing experiences. The dog Nilo also kept me company. Great value for money accommodation!

A pearl to be discovered

Hi guys, this place is super nice and clean. The owner is incredibly friendly and the best place to stay for a couple of days. We are absolutely no hostel fans, but this place is great. Easy going, uncomplicated and fair! To the owner: thank you for the great recommendations for the trail! All the best Mihajla

Friendly, clean and in the middle of the city

Just been here with my sister for a night and we loved the place so much! Located near the ocean, with awesome view from the roof top, spotlessly clean, bright, cozy and welcoming. The owner is a kind guy with a cool no-stress attitude, this made our time here very pleasant. You can book shared dorm, or private room, but whatever is your choice, it is lovely. I hope we can return here soon.

Best hotel ever

I started my hike on the Rota Vicentina staying in Porto Covo.  This was a totally reasonable place to stay the night before starting my hike. Beds were standard fare dorm beds but I was tired and had no problems sleeping. 

What was most helpful was that our host gave lots of information about the hike over the four days. He also gave great recommendations for restaurants in the area (I had some incredible fish!)

Also to note: it costs 1 € to use a towel.

Exactly as advertised!

This was our stop after 3 days on the Roto Vincentina. When we left my friend forgot her passport and money. Our host Nicholas made arrangements to have it sent at no charge to us to the next place we were going. The accommodations were very clean and friendly.  It was cold so the fire in the fireplace was welcomed. 

Great little gem

Amazingly cute, nice terrace, really clean, perfect location and great host ! Thanks again Nicho for your warm welcome and all your tips and recommendations :) highly recommend if you stay in Porto covo.
