First and foremost - this is not a hostel.  This is a two-storey apartment whose live-in owners are trying to sell beds as a hostel.  I will go into more details below, but in short, if you're looking for a youth hostel, just keep looking.
The address was fairly easy to find, though the door itself was not signposted and simply said to ring the bell.  The staff member who answered the door was nice, spoke okay English, and showed me around the place.  Upstairs is a communal lounge area with a TV and a laptop for general use, as well as a large kitchen for general use.  Downstairs is the bathroom with one shower and one toilet, a door which I believe was another bedroom, and the room I stayed in.  There is no front desk of any kind - if you need help, you simply find a staff member.
The room I was in had a bunk bed, a single bed which was occupied by a Brazilian who I believe was working at the 'hostel', a couch and a dresser which the Brazilian seemed to be using, with ornaments and mirrors scattered around like someone's spare room.  There was only one key to the room, and when out of the room I was asked to hide the key under the mail in the circuit box beside the front door, meaning it was theoretically available to everyone.  The bedroom of the two owners/staff members opened off my room, meaning they passed in and out of the room all day without warning, and between the two beds was another door which never opened, but behind which I heard a lot of noise late into the night, which made me worry someone would walk in at some point.
They also have a dog, which was cute, but tended to lick you and jump on you until forcibly removed.  When I returned to the building for the night, I found the two owners in their bedroom with the dog outside the door, locked into my room along with my luggage.  I then proceeded to undress and get ready for bed with a dog jumping on me and trying to climb onto my bed.
Breakfast looked ok, but I only ate a couple of biscuits, as by this point I'd decided I'd had enough of the strange atmosphere and decamped to the internationally-certified youth hostel down the road.  This place is clean and safe enough, but it's certainly not what you expect for the name hostel - it felt more like staying in a stranger's house than in a multi-dorm youth hostel, and I wasn't comfortable with that scenario.  I think they'd be better off registering on AirBnB or something like that.  If this sounds good to you, then great, but I personally won't be coming back.
