This is such a nice hostel. We took privite room, the room is clean and it has a huge garden in the back. I also met some really cool people here. The staff are really helpful, kind and caring. I will be back again once the world returns to normal!


Best Hostel at Vila Real 

The first thing I meet is very friendly staff in a nice and quiet hostel. Then the rooms where very clean and nice, also there where own bathrooms in every room. What pulls it all down are to short beds. I’m 180cm, and both my head and feet’s touched the ends of the bed.

I stay at this hostel quite often and I love to stay here.
Very clean, beautiful space, amazing people, and great location.
I always stay in shared rooms to save some money and I feel like I have my own space even sharing the room with other people.
I strongly suggest this place for those who want a pleasant stay in Vila Real. For party-time, please don't mess up with the tranquility of this amazing place!

Amazing stay

Great modernised little old townhouse on an atmospheric pedestrian street right in the heart of Vila Real. Combo of hostel & guesthouse feel. Friendly & efficient, with comfy mixed dorm, pleasantly designed bar area downstairs. Bus station easily walkable.

Charming & Central

We arrived here at the last minute when our booked accommodation didn't work out.  The staff could not have been more friendly, helpful or welcoming.  The whole team were great throughout our three day stay.  We are a family of four and took a room with 4 bunks and a private shower room.  We really liked the combination of traditional architecture and modern features.  Everything was clean, beautifully decorated and well organised.  We used the terrace, dining room and kitchen.  There is also a large lounge with games and TV.  The hostel is difficult (but not impossible) to access by car.  This would have been OK if we had been in backpacking mode.  However, we found free all day parking a few hundred metres away on Largo do Pioledo (it is possible to park for free in many streets but only between 7pm and 8am). The only thing to be aware of is all payments must be in cash.

Best hostel we've ever experienced

Half way between an inn and an hostel, half way between typical and modern style, this was by far the best hostels i ever been to. Very friendly and helpful staff. We bough an amazing wine from the douro valley directly at the hostels at low cost. There is a beautiful garden to hang out in the garden for the sunny day. They also have a partnership with Lagoatrekking which is an amazing way to get to see the valley. I highly recommend this place!
