The owner of the hotel who greeted us was rude, unwelcoming and did nothing to help us. We were  group of 15 for a yoga retreat and treated us as though SHE was doing us a huge favour and spoke down to all of us the whole time. Any requests we had were denied, constantly saying "there are other guests in the hotel" (only 1 other couple besides our group). Love the area, decent food but with this owner I would NEVER come back.

Very Rude Owner

Good food, classic romanian food, not so versatile for vegetarians/vegans but you can find something to eat without meat. 
From my husband that tried pastrami he said that was very good. 
Very Clean and the serving was good. 

Good lunch in Azuga! 

On the 29th of july me and my wife were welcomed by a very nice lady at the villa.We went out and came back at 1a.m.We were really surprised by the fact that the villa was closed and we were not able to open the main gate with the keys that they left us. After 30 minutes of standing out in the cold and trying to call the reception i had to climb the 3m tall wall in order to enter the garden.I hurt my hand badly during the process but then i also discovered that the door at the entrance was closed. I knocked for about 2 minutes continuously and than a "gentleman" opened and started yelling at me and asking "why are you coming back at this hour in the night" like he was some general from the army and we were his soldiers. I explained to him nicely that nobody told us that we had to come back until a certain hour or we would be left outside. There was no way that we could have a normal conversation because he was smelling like alcohol and his state of judgment was really altered so he continued being RUDE and told us to dissappear really fast in the room because he has no time for this situation(he used other words but it wouldn't be nice to quote him here).
Because of the discomfort created by this really tensed situation we were not able to sleep so at 6a.m. we packed and left.

Bad experience.The guy in charge of the reception by night was rude, drunk,closed the villa and left us outside.

Super accomodation, very cozy and clean rooms. If you like winter sports is also the perfect choice being near the slope.also you can do hicking and extrem sports like cycling through   the woods even if you are an expert or a beginner



Great food and nice accomodation

Wonderful accomodation near the slopes with amazing view over the mountains. The variety of food is basic but with excelent taste and good prices.

The host is very friendly and an amazing fact: they have a dog: chow chow

Best place to stay in Azuga

Unfortunatly Azuga is one of the few places where it's hard or impossible to eat a decent food.
After consulting couple of websites we concluded to eat at pension Noni.
Big mistake: from 4-5 soups they had only one, nothing with chicken, when we asked about desert: from coupke if choises in the menu: none!
We took some food which was almost burned and with no taste!
Try to eat in another city! 

Desastrous restaurant

We had a wonderful time here, is so perfect to relax ,amazing views The hosts are so friendly and always willing to help and make your stay pleasant. The room is very clean,they provide even kettle and selection of coffe and tea.I've been to 3 stars hotels in that region and they did not provide even robe or slipper. This place exeded my expectation from all point of view, even the restaurant is great . I really recomend this place. 

Great stay

Rooms very clean, relaxing, nothing more to do in summer.
Very close to winter sports
so during the winter is perhaps a very good place.
Unfortunately problems with hot water
from the upper floors.
We stayed on the 3rd floor.

relaxation and a little walk on the mountain

Just been there with my family for a sky session  and i have to say that it was pretty amazing,location is very close to the slopes which is a big plus,the lady who runs this place  was very kind during our stay,always ready to help with anything we needed it and we felt like home.One of the best accommodation in Azuga,as well reception staff was very friendly,the rooms are quite big and very comfortable,highly recommended!In two words:Thumbs up!!!!

Fabulous stay!

Pros: Good location, close to the slopes (100m), good conditions in the room (we had the apartment), warm. Pleasant and helpful staff. There is a pool table to spend some time and a lobby you can stay if you are a bigger group. Parking on site. The breakfast was good.
 
Cons: The restaurant is average. A little bit noisy when there is traffic but not very disturbing.
 
Conclusion: a very good place to stay during winter, close to the slopes, with very good condition and a reasonable price.
