Best option from the area and looking fw to come back! 
I booked 2 nights during the weekend and it was a great experience starting with reception till restaurant. 
The location is pet friendly and they attitute towards animals is was unbelievable for me, kind, respectful and very caring towards my dog. 
Rooms are really nice as a design and really clean! Peronnel is very helpful and kind. 
Food is just amazing and for a pretty good price. 


Excellent! 

This place is anything but family friendly. I made the mistake of booking this place as a family (with 2year old child) weekend getaway. They had 2 active events at the same time and thought to themselves it would be nice to give us the room facing the parties. Our apartment had 0 privacy and was noisy on both nights, but especially on the 2nd night. I even spoke to their manager about this, but they just don’t care, though they will act as if they do.

It is simply unacceptable to not notify your customers that you have big events planned during their stay and it will cause disturbances.

I used to recommend this place to my friends but never again. 

This sort of thing should be refundable.

Food / drinks were good, and that’s the only positive I have.

Ruined my weekend.

Very beautiful design of the place, probably unique in Romania. It’s decorated as an American ranch and I personally enjoyed the attention for all the details - even the hangers were in the theme, all paintings, music, everything. The location is very kid friendly, they have an indoor playing room and an outdoor playground. The staff is very nice. The food is typical American food, big variety, tasty, maybe a bit heavy, but you find good options. They have horses that you can pet and a very nice view. It’s close to a lot of places - you can easily reach bran, Rasnov and Brasov, so it’s location is perfect. We were with our 3 years old and another 4years old and we were very relaxed as they had where to run and play. Will come back for sure.

Very kid friendly location, very beautiful American ranch design

It's a great place to visit and eat.The landmark is absolutly superb and the food is great. I hade the best mutton chops ever! I recommend this dish, it's simply delicious! You can also ride the beatiful horses.

We came with de kids for horse riding but they don't do this activity for a couple of years.
We stayed to eat but i don't recommend it to anyone.
Beef soup was good. Vegetables cream soup with croutons nothing special.
Maggie's burger poor taste. Same thing with the Veal snitzel, tasteless.
Clasic ribs were tender but it tasted only like condiments.
Apple pie awful, it seemed pretty old.
Fries are of course frozen.
Prices are very high for what they offer.
Parking places are available in the complex.
Serving was attentive.
Many wasps were disturbing our lunch.
Lemonade wasn't so good, the strawberry lemonade bad taste. 

Poor food, don't eat here

I went to Maggie's Ranch. It is looking great.The food of the restaurant is excelent. It is clean and the staff very friendly. The scenary is fabulos. The pool is ok. But it is looking beter on picture then in reality and they have to repear the stairs. Otherwise the place is great.

Nice place, nice food

For our last Teamevent I chose Maggie’s Ranch as the best thought destination, after a full year of professional challenges. It was the worst decision I could have made, as the location’s conditions were awful... half of my Team was bitten by bed bugs and half of the team got stomach aches from the bad way the food was cooked in their restaurant. 

Otherwise, high prices for the very nice mountain view and a reticient management who refused to organize a sanitary clean-up of the rooms after we informed them about the bed bugs. 

It’s for sure a location I eould nit recommend, as I will also ensure never to return there again.

Horror Experience

To make this clear, this is a review of just the restaurant.
The location is very good, the restaurant terrace enjoying an amazing view, especially in autumn colors.
They had some cats running around the place adding to the rustic feeling which was very nice. 

But this is the only good side of this place.
The menu is 90% for meat eaters and if you want something dairy free as well, there's only some fries and another one or two side dishes. So the menu is not friendly with vegans.
The food was average but very expensive.
And I was surprised by the bruschetta: it was do it on your own like you see in the picture.

The service was very slow, even though the place wasn't crowded at all.
The staff, I think need some training in people skills.

I do not recommend the detour if the place is not in your travel path. If it is, it's worth a once stop to see the ranch and grab a bite and see for yourself.

Restaurant review: Average food, bad service, amazing view

Stayed in September for 3 nights. The lodge were we stayed for the first two nights was very nice, mind the garbage bag that was spread all over the back lawn just next to our balcony(probably dragged by one of the dogs of the ranch).They had a big event so they had to move us on the third night to the chalet were the room was smaller, darker and colder but with a nicer view. The breakfast needs a little bit of improvement but altogether was ok. We also ate there and we were disappointed by the food. The soup of  was very good but the others were bland, tasteless. The burger had no taste, the onion rings were done in haste i think. The quesadilla also was bland unfortunately. They all looked very good but the taste was disappointing. Go for the air and for some horse ridding, but look for other places to eat.

Great location, good for adults and children.. Average food and service.

We went several times, the experience was each time a pleasant one.
The place is amazing, the view from the terrace even more and very relaxing.
The service is very good, the requests are well taken care of and managed.
The food is tasty and I would say more than enough .
I’ve read the reviews and I must say that the concept of the place  is being a RANCH and if you’re looking for a fancy restaurant with gourmet food and exquisite dinning you’ll have to pick a place well known for this type of services.
Overall, they are trying to do their best.
