A pretty large, very clean hotel. Nice and kind staff - especially the restaurant ladies&gents and the maids. Excellent food, diverse and tastefull (mainly at lunch and dinner, not so much at breakfast).
Unfortunetly, some important issues:
- the heating system is unproperly used. It is stoped for long period of times (even 3-4 hours), so the rooms and common spaces are not so warm;
- the indoor pool - not very clean, not warm enough;
- only twi elevators for a 7 floors hotel;
- this hotel didn't have its own power generator. In the case of a power fail (wich was happened, right in the firts day of my trip) the entire building was in total darkness, and without heating.

A little disapointed

I wrote almost 6200 reviews but this is the first time I actually hope someone interested will read this one.

I will jump right in. Stayed the night of September 16 and 17.
First night I was given a double bed room, not a queen or double bed but two singles together, with 2 single sheets.
I was tires and crushed in. Next morning i went down and changed the room, they gave me a "matrimonial" room.
But again two small sheets, one ripped, both dirty. See the pictures.
The room is (yes, I'm in it right noe) extremely dirty, filthy. Carpets are soiled, furniture chipped, drapes stink, bad odor everywhere.
Washroom, filthy again, I dont think they cleaned the toilet, no "Cleaned" paper band/ribbon on the lid and the inside was black dirty. If they cleaned it they must have seen there is no toilet paper. Yes, no paper, heard anything like this before? Tiles chipped and stained, see pictures please. I can't imagine some newly weds will spend their honeymoon in this "matrimonial" room. Not in this lifetime. 

With the Covid outbreak they were supposed to emphasize the cleaning. Never mind the extra Covid cleaning, rooms are not cleaned period, I dont even think the change the sheets. Horrible.

The management doesn't endorce wearing the mask policy. People walk trough hotel, bar, restaurant amd entire facilities with no mask. They crowed the elevators to over capacity like sardines without any masks or separation.

There are so many bad things, I could spend hours and won't be over. Just do yourself a favor and avoid this place. It is dangerousy unsafe and unhealthy. It is not a hotel is a garrison!

Please read before you book

This is not 3 star hotel , never ! I don’t know where to start but they are soooo many BAD things here , start with the staff , cleaning , food ( same salty food every day , cold , reused , they use ketchup for pasta and a lot of Delikat , same dinner every night for 6 nights ) , they did not cleaned the room at all for 6 days , olny took the trash , no towels changed only if you insist and ask for , no heating , they open it only 3,4 hours in the night , no air condition witch is a must in a 3 star !!!! Dust everywhere , no bulb light in room 312 , horrible ! 
About the treatment base , also very bad , the doctor does not listen to your needs , equipment old and very low quality , solux look’s like a radiator , they don’t change the sheets not even every day , I don’t talk about after every patient ! 
The only plus for the hotel are some nurses there an the teraphy base and the fact that is posted central as a location . 
***3 star hotel means : air condition/heating provided 24/7 , telephone in your room , cleaning facilities every day , bed sheets clean and not broken , ELEVATOR ( does not go to the 3rd floor , you have to go at 4 then come down thru the stairs ) , hairdryer , shampoo etc . They DON’T have any of what I mentioned . Then , why is this a 3 star hotel???? 

Horrible 1 star !! 

It started with us not being able to park close by (2km) as there are no parking spaces and locals park like maniacs and the roads are in bad shape. Then the reception had the rooms wrong (which is typical, apparently): we ordered twin rooms (2 separate beds) but got doubles (1 bigger, "marriage" bed). The lady on the counter was waving the hand written list of reserved rooms like it was a proof of our reservation and was hardly speaking anything other than Romanian. 
Our room was with no air-conditioning (standard), there was dust on the shelves and the bathroom floor was wet (most likely from the leaking shower base) when we entered and stayed a mini-pool till we left (another standard there). 
Elevator was also in bad shape (we were on 7th floor) and took forever to reach us (since it was stopping on each floor when somebody pressed call button - there was no possibility to choose if you wanted to go up or down when calling the lift).
Still we were lucky ones. There were ladies who had it so bad the the room was not habitable and thanks to the pictures and receptionist being told off the room was switched to a bit better room.
The last point is the air-conditioning again: we had to open the window to be able to stay in the room (it was too hot) and at night at around 4 A.M. we were woken first by pack of dogs and then cats fighting (for around an hour).
Food was quite good (hence 2 stars) only for breakfast there were only tea and coffee (no water nor juice).

Tragedy

- locker rooms without seats, with dampness, very dirty
I will never come back!

Worst services

Extremely bad experience starting at the reception. We'd selected this hotel because we needed to stay one night and pay with Vacation Tickets offered by Sodexo. From the Sodexo site, we found out that this is an eligible hotel for this kind of payment, but at the reception, they said we couldn't pay with those. That was ok, so we moved on. The hotel had POS for credit cards, but apparently it didn't work.
The cleanliness of the room was absolutely horrible, they probably only changed the bed sheets and even those weren't clean, as you can see in the photos.
The bathroom design and cleanliness was awful as well. We just didn't want to take a shower that night as we didn't know if the bathroom was clean enough in order for us to be naked in there, that's how disgusting the place was.
The bed mattresses were pretty bad as well.
Also, we noticed in the middle of the night that the balcony door wasn't closed completely and the cold air was coming through.

The price was ok-ish for a 3-star hotel + all meals included, however this doesn't look like a 3-star hotel and we weren't even informed when we arrived that we had the dinner included in the price.
The location is probably the only really good thing about this hotel, being in the middle of the city.

Extremely bad experience

The hotel is small and cosy. I went there for the New Year's Eve. The food was ok. It was varied and it could cater for all the tastes. The room was small but clean. I had a balcony and the landscape was fabulous. The scenery is great! Pity the beautiful resort is not to well mantained. It is a very old resort, dating years ago, to the Roman Empire. It is located in the mountains. The resort has also a very nice old railway station. It is 10 km away from the big dam on the Danube, so you can enjoy a small cruise on the Danube and even have dinner on the ship. If you want a nice trip, you can also visit Drobeta, an old city, founded by the Romans, located on the Danube river. The parties we had at the hotel, were rather well organized. One thing we found disturbing was the live music. The music was too old, but if you like it this way, it will be perfect! On the 1st of January was a fancy dress ball, which as also very funny. So it is a 3 stars hotel, not more! And it was good for the price we paid.

Pros: not really
Cons: expensive for what it has to offer: poor and outdated bathroom appliance. Slow wifi, small Tv and very bad Tv signal, little to choose at the restaurant, no free entrance to the pool or any of the spa treatments and the list goes on. 
I don't recommend this 3 star hotel. There are other 2 stars hotels that offer the same services or even more.
