We stayed here for 4 nights.  We had a 1 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor.  It was just what we needed to feel at home in Brasov.  The apartment was nice and clean.  There were plates, cutlery and cups.  The only thing we could have used was a kettle.  The walk up the hill can be intense so pace yourself.  But we were happy to stay out of the city center.  The view from our window was very nice to wake up to.  We will stay here again if we are ever in Brasov again.

9 Suites was a great place to stay. The room or I should say the rooms were large. In mine I had a full size bathroom with whirlpool tub, a kitchen with fridge, stove, and plates and utensils, a large bedroom, and a balcony the went the whole length of the suite. The rooms were very clean. The staff the friendly and helpful.
It was close to the old city of Brasov, and I had not problems walking there and back though the cobblestone road might intimidate some. It is somewhat steep.
 The staff can tell how to get to other locations around the area too.

A wonderful base to see southern Transylvania

Booked a 1 bedroom apartment for three nights. For us the location was good. It is definitely a narrow road up, during winter time it's probably horrible to drive - wouldn't recommend. During summer time it wasn't a big deal at all. Free parking was ok even though the road leading to the house as well as the road in front of it is in a horrible shape.

On the booking site it says that there's a bar and a cafe but at least we couldn't find them....

The apartment didn't look like anything on the pictures. It was cold, humid and dark. Floors were extremely cold even in the month of May. You do have heating there but it doesn't help much with the floors. Also, the darkness made the apartment dungeon-like. Yes, there are windows but just a couple of them and they don't bring in enough light.

Another huge disappointment was the kitchen as it didn't have anything to make coffee with (no coffee maker, coffee pot or anything). It's an extremely stripped apartment with only the essentials and that's it. 

The bathroom was a smelly, wet and the toilet was leaking the whole time.  Because the water tank leaked, you couldn't flush it and actually had to fill a bucket with water and pour it to the toilet... Ugh.. The owners do know this but it wasn't fixed. 

The fridge was extremely loud! For light sleepers it's going to be torture. 

We were told that there will be cleaning every day but during our three day stay only the towels were changed - once. On the first day the apartment wasn't cleaned and the towels weren't changed either...

Staff was ok but we definitely felt very let down. There's no cleaning, no proper kitchen, no cafe/bar. 

Internet was good and we did get a good sleep there.

Big disappointment

This property is very badly advertised ... it’s nothing like the picture in real life ! We stayed one night on a family holiday as Braşov was on our list to visit again. The apartment is damp, dark and smells awful. The minimum of furniture and very little in the way of a kitchen ... not even a kettle to make a drink. In very poor condition and badly maintained by its owner,who we were told by a very embarrassed cleaner, doesn’t care anymore about the property and does not re invest money into it. Dirty and rusty bathroom fittings, broken lights everywhere, awful smell in the bathroom. How on earth thIs still remains on Trip Advisor god only knows !!! The manager does not really care when we complained and we feel cheated out of the price paid. On Booking.com it states discuss rate on arrival which is not the case ... the money is blocked on your credit card and not refundable !!! Never ever stay again and would certainly not recommend this place !!!!!!!

Disaster from the minute we arrived !

I visited this place a while back as a couple and from the off it was a disaster.the place was impossible to find and even the locals couldn't help locate it. we found eventually at the end of a dirt road, tired and sweaty. only found out about the free bar facilities and location on the last night, room was bare and poorly furnished.we also arranged an ongoing trip with the staff who set us up with an "english" speaking guide who had no English, was slimy and swindled us out of our money. avoid at all costs you have been warned!
