The location is great. Friendly and smiling staff does assist you. Quality is high in general. Is also a well cleaned hotel in general. Price is a bit high. I do highly recomend the place for a pleasant stay. 

Pleasant stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay.  The staff were friendly, efficient and extremely helpful, e.g. in arranging airport transfers.  Our room fully met the standard one would expect from the Radisson brand. The hotel is in an excellent location for Brasov old town, and is a short taxi ride from the station.

6 Days in Brasov

Everything was wonderful ! Very good rooms and very clean , the best staff, perfect breakfast , very good location . I was very satisfied, and so were my children  . We will definitely be back .Thank you , Radisson ! 

Best place to stay in Braşov! 

Good experience and good hotel. The only downside of this hotel is that it does not have an onsite parking. I have not used the offsite parking which is around 400m from the hotel, instead I had to park in the public car parks all around the park and these are getting very busy everyday.

Good experience and good hotel

From the minute we walked in we were treated like this was a Ritz or Four Seasons - the people were all very helpful and conscientious about our comfort and satisfaction.  Dennis was at the front desk and he helped me find a free parking place on the street and then held it for me until I could retrieve our car!  

The staff made great recommendations for things to do, places to visit, restaurants, etc.  All were great and one of the best restaurants and certainly the BEST server we had during our whole visit - Raluca!  If you want a drink or meal served with a big, warm smile, treat yourself to a great meal at the hotel restaurant Artís and ask for Raluca as your server.

Lastly, I had a terrible back spasm and the hotel set me up with a massage by Emil Nedelcu.  He was a godsend!  He intuitively knew how much pressure to use and his technique helped my back greatly!  If you need a massage in Brasov, treat yourself to one by Emil - he works magic with muscles!

Great Hotel in Brasov

I stayed one night at this hotel in April 2019 and chose it strictly for its location, which was close to the center where I had work. Apart from this, there’s not much to commend this hotel, stuck well in the past. 

All the rooms are the same, two-person style basic place, with old and creaky furniture, so and so cleanliness, doors not fitting the frame, an empty fridge, a TV from the ‘90s, paper-thin bedding... you get the idea. 

While the bathroom fixtures are sturdy and work, nobody gave any thought to the look of it (repairs with plaster sticking out are all over). 

The reception staff are ok and the offers include breakfast, after a fashion: the communist-apron-dressed breakfast attendant comes over (about 15 minutes late) and takes your order from a menu (basic veg, bread, cheese, omelette etc.) with prices. You must calculate so that the ingredients of your breakfast do not go over the value of your coupon. Anything extra gets charged (both the coupon values and the prices are also stuck in the past, risibly low). Then more wait for the food itself.

All in all, apart from its location, this is such a carousel of shoddy and stuck in the past mentality that it is laughable. I would clearly recommend it to experience how Romania was in the ‘90s and before. Otherwise, don’t.

Stuck in times past

If you've ever slept in a classical communist-era hotel, you've basically slept here, too. 
The furniture is old and I think it is still the same as when it first opened. The location and the view are very good, right in the city center, but I doubt that this can be a three star hotel in 2018. 
The bathrooms have been reconditioned, I think, and are not that bad, but the beds are not great. 
And also, they don't have parking spots, so if you travel here by car, be prepared to pay for parking in front of the hotel (1.5 RON/hour), that is if you find parking there. We waited for about an hour and kept going around the city in hopes we will find a free spot. 

Communist era monument

Old, dusty, unconfortable hotel. Pillows seem filled with potatoes. Fridge in the room making noise every ten minutes. Furniture at least 30 years old but my guess is around 40. Dirty carpet, broken furniture. Won't even risk having breakfast here. It's a pitty because it's a great location but it's unacceptable that a building like this is called a hotel. 



Avoid

I have been to this hotel for a weekend and it has been an ok stay. The hotel was opened in 1973 and I know that because I saw the year on some items. You can say it is an old place by the looks of the furniture, it actually reminded me of the holidays with my parents when I was yound. But even if it does not have a fancy design and the fresh air of 2017, it is a clean place, reconditioned here and there, right in the heart of the city. So if there is no better choice for you, this is an ok place, accepting its faith, not trying to pretend it is what it is not and for me honesty matters. It is not the best place. It is not the worst.

Clean but stuck in time

the topical communist time hotel huge lounge and reception, old elevators, old rooms, but still very clean and taken care of. 
The breakfast is very poor even for Romania standards but in other hand the location is just perfect!! right in the center and next to the main food/nightlife street.
