Stayed for two nights in early August. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Old house, you can hear your next door neighbours, but if that doesn't bother you it's fine. Had a good night's sleep there. Wifi worked fine as well. Not too difficult to find if you know how to work a map. Great location!

Great location - nice room

We booked this accommodation because of the advantageous location in the old town of Brasov.
The prices are quite affordable, especially if you are two people travelling. The initial plan was to stay only one night, but then we decided to stay a second one and the staff was prompt to arrange us another room for the second night. The room is quite basic but for 1-2 nights you don't need more. The only bad thing is that there is no hair dryer available so I recommend to bring yours.

Good location for a fair price

The rooms looked nice. We rented two rooms. The shower didnt worked on each of them, and so the heating. They switched off the heating and it was cold there all the night. In the morning  we had maybe 10 degrees in the room. Terrible and also there wasnt any parking places. It was difficult to get there our stuff and find a place for the car... 
Maybe good in summer.

Terrible night

It's quite clean, spacious and cozy, in the middle of the city, very close to the main square, the bathroom is new with a beautiful shower, although a little difficult to adjust, a quiet atmosphere and courteous staff, economical.

Better than expected

It was a cold November night, we were three students in Brasov after visiting Dracula's castle we couldn't go anywhere and on booking we found the taj mahal 30 euros a suite Of course I can say that my room is brighter but we weren't bad.

Good Indian food. Excellent personal service super. Fair prices!! I've been here for three years and I've always been fine.

I arrived around 2.30 in the morning, as stated in booking, but I found locked doors and nobody around. Middle of the night, alone outside. Cold. Luckily, I had their number, so I called and then one of the employees came to give me the keys. In the room, there was no chairs, floor was a bit dusty, no curtain on the roof window (in the morning sun gets directly into your eyes)... Bed was pretty comfortable. Most of the times, volume could not be turned down on TV, so either it would be extremely loud, or you could mute it. Wi-Fi was poor and hard to use in the room. Walls, room door and floors were made of a thin wood, so of someone would walk out in the corridor, your floor would squeak too. Doors could not be just closed, only locked, otherwise would open. Second night, I was woken up at 3 o'clock in the morning by the next room guests - loud talking, laughing, yelling in the corridors. It lasted until 6, 7 a.m. When I told it to one of the employees, he simply said that those guests were leaving that morning. Hm... When I asked him if he could call me taxi for next morning, as I don't speak Romanian, he just said no. Location was excellent - literally few steps out to the main square and Black Church.

Location is great, just couple steps from city center. Young staff member was helpful. Room is cozy.

There should be some instruction how to use shower, since it was a bit confusing. TV should be fixed. Parking is such a mess! I recommend you to park somewhere nearby, because if you have to go reverse from hotel parking like I did, you are very likely to scratch your car.

Good for the price, avoid the parking

The location of the hotel is absolutely one of the best in Brasov, practically enough to cross the street is on the main square. The Indian-style furnished room, as the name suggests, is very minimal but still special and pleasant. The wi-fi connection works well, unfortunately breakfast is not proposed. The only rude note was the staff (probably a waiter) at our arrival who seemed almost annoyed (unfortunately we never saw the owner who by all other reviews is very kind), to note that we did not review anyone again until departure where we left the keys on the door of the room.

Practically on the main square and very minimal.

I was at the Taj Mahal in Easter with my boyfriend. Room number one, very romantic and nice. Nice staff. We found a room and bathroom that was genuinely clean. We were two steps from the central square at a more than reasonable price (we paid 23€ in two a night). The only negative note was the shower. I slept at the Taj Mahal on Easter's Day with my boyfriend. We had room number 1. It was romantic and nice and the staff was very kind. The room and bathroom were clean, and the place is very close to central. We paid 23€ for one night. The only negative thing was the bathroom.
