This apartment was centrally located and very close to stores, restaurants and sites The  care taker met me at a restaurant to deliver the keys and was very helpful throughout my stay if I ever needed anything. The wifi was good on my phone to chat  but to do any work online on my laptop it was horrible. I had to buy data.  The room was not so  quiet at nights because if the constant traffic outside as the room faced the busy street.  The bedroom was big and bed was  comfy. This was the only good thing about this apartment.  

There was a kitchenette and teas and essentials were provided, however on more than 1 occasion I had to call the caretaker/owner to complain about roaches on the counter and smell of gas constantly in the kitchen. 

What spoiled it for me was the bathroom. It was literally stink. The day I checked in the man showed me every room except the bathroom. When he left I couldn't believe the stench coming from in there. I had to cover my nose with a towel to go in and keep the door closed at all times.

 I really didnt have the energy to go find another apartment and I had already paid. I decided to spend most time outside and lock the bedroom door when I was there so  the scent dont enter.  To shower I had to leave the door open and speed shower, whilst trying not to breathe too much.   
His solution was to come and spray the place with a very strong disinfectant that gave me headaches. And within hours the scent faded and back to gas and stinky bathroom. 

I didnt enjoy my stay here at all.
I wouldn't recommend this particular apartment.

Nice location , horrible washroom

We arrived in Bucharest and got in touch with the host early in the morning telling us where we were and what time it was, we made an appointment, we arrived at the place at about 10:50 and he wasn't there. We called him and he asked us to wait 45 minutes. We waited and we called him back after 50 minutes and he asked us for another 20 minutes.

He left us in the middle of the road.

We had some difficulty checking in. We had arranged to meet at a restaurant nearby at a specific time. We waited some time for someone to meet us, he could not be contacted by phone. After about 45 mins he showed up to check us in. Frustrating but we got over it, dumped our luggage and headed into the old town. 
The apartment was extremely spacious and was very clean and tidy. There was generous living space, sitting and dining area was also spacious. Tea and coffee was also available you of course need to purchase some milk. Building was quiet and so was the room.  
Bathroom a little tight on space but ample for a short stay. Bathroom has an awkward level step up between toilet level and bathroom. Be aware of this, it is a bit of a fall issue if you forget about it.
Quite happy with our stay here, so close to the old town and peaceful spacious apartment. As you exit building front door, turn left then left again, this will take you into the old town 5 mins walk away. In the opposite direction to the right as you come out the front door approx 300m down the road you will come to a hipster pizza joint which is quite popular.

Great location edge of old town. Big roomy and quiet.

I struggled with what review to give this apartment because while it was in a great location, just on the edge of the old town on the Main Street, was a large and clean apartment with great kitchen facilities, hot water McLean towels and good airindiitonioning; the service from then host was not satisfactory.  But I decided to rate it in facilities I. The hope that the host will take note of the review.

The  host was contacted weeks before arrival to advise of our arrival time.  We also contacted them when we arrived in Bucharest to let them know we were in a taxi and on our way.  We arranged to meet outside a restaurant across the road from the large apartment building.  We were there at tr agreed time and the host was nit.  We waited twenty minutes and text the host twice to ask where they were.  After fourth minutes and asking for help from a local to try the number to check w head the right one.  The host showed up.  He said his phone had gone flat. He was slightly intoxicated.  When we returned to our room the. Set day he Wa there cleaning with two beers on the go.

So the room is great.  But the host is not what I would call reliable.

Good location, large clean apartment

We found each other quite well. It's a great location in the real historic center. So everything in the vicinity. The owner Bodgan is a wonderful person. He's really available. He's favored us in every way. The structure is a little fatiguing but given the price it's highly recommended.

Location, cleanliness, cordiality, economy, freedom, space... everything you need to have a great support in the historic center of Bucharest... subway and bus under the house, historic center around the corner and nightclubs.

Very nice apartment close to Old City. Entrance is a bit scary but since you are in everything is decent. Good AC which is a must, 50Mb+ WIFI. Super nice host. Stayed there for two days, definitely not enough to explore the city. Stores around a quite overpriced compare to Germany and US. Was not able to find anything cheaper. Literally a few steps away from all the actions in the old town. Will stay there again, but for a longer term.

Coltea residence is located right in the historic center of the city of Bucharest (Lipscani area). equipped with wi-fi, kitchen and bathroom is an excellent mini-apartment where to spend a few days to visit the city.

Well-placed and great for a mini-vacation.
