The  hotel has reducible policy that kids under the age of 10 should sleep in  the parents bed.  When we ask for third bed they didnt gave  us one l,  we were ready to pay a abcause . 
They charg  daily  for the parking of the hotel ( they told us that just when we did  check out ) all and all not a good exepirence.

Not agood exeperiance

I’ve been staying at this hotel for the past 10+ years and it has always been a lovely experience - especially due to its convenient location and overall ambiance, however, this will be the last time.

I wanted to use the laundry services on Friday morning and called the reception at 10:30. They told me “you’re too late”. Given the “end of the world” was not announced I asked several time what he (Cristian) means by “too late” knowing that I was staying for another 2 days and that as per laundry papers in the room only on Sunday laundry services were not available. He did not know that I was ok to pay for the express service (and of course he did not even ask). Learning: a better approach (for hotel revenue that is) is to ask the client by when they need the service and then to offer options. Let them make the final choice and do not assume. After I explained all the above I asked if I could leave the laundry on Friday morning so it is send on Saturday but he said I should bring it on Saturday morning (you will see the issue later on). No thinking here about what works / is more convenient for the client.
Saturday morning, given one of the guests in the room left early, I passed by reception at 5am. Same Cristian was in charge. I asked if I could leave the laundry then (to be able to sleep further and also not be late for the hotel deadline) he told me “no, you should call room service past 7am once the ladies handling the room service start work.
To my surprise, when calling reception at 8am on Saturday morning, I was told there is no laundry service on Saturday & Sunday by another Cristian who was working at the reception.
Confused by this all I decided I will finally use the laundry service at the next hotel where I was scheduled to stay on my journey. And mentioned I will have to write this review because it’s simply mind blowing experience (he was not aware of the entire saga - though to be honest looked very similar to the other Cristian).
5 minutes later he approached me and told me that he discussed switch room service personnel and if my choice is to use the express option, it is indeed possible to use the laundry service - which I finally took for convenience - my clothes were soaking wet since the heavy rain on Thursday evening).
If indeed the 2 receptionists are different, I think it becomes clear that you should instill in them the focus on the customer and finally for your revenue as well and give them a training on the hotels’ services as well as on how to speak to the customers.

Terrible terrible service - incompetent people

The most horrible experience ever. Nothing working in my room. Receptionist totally rude and unhelpful. They should close it. Can’t wait to leave on Friday 31.
No shower gel in my room. Room and bathroom phones not working. I think it’s unsafe to stay at that hotel.

HORRIBLE

A very nice and modern hotel with a comfortable bed, very good breakfast and a well-equipped fitness room for active people. It’s near Victoriei Square, with loads of restaurant options around, its own brasserie and well connected to the city. The personnel is very nice and attentive.

Unfortunately we were informed in front of hotel that there are no parking left. In this area it is quite impossible to find a parking space. The very arrogant employee of the hotel sent us away and so we decided that this might not be the right place for us to stay the night....! We found a friendly hotel with parking in the area and had a nice stay.

No parking left...., but no information on internet about situation!

I stayed at this hotel twice because it was recommended to me and the reviews seemed mostly positive. However, my opinion is subjective and based solely on my own experience.

👍 Positive points:
- The breakfast offers a wide variety of options suitable for different dietary needs.
- The hotel is generally clean and maintained to an acceptable standard.
- The location of the hotel is convenient, being well situated in relation to the city center.

👎 Negative points:
- The first room had a noisy ventilation system in the bathroom, which would only stop after 10-15 minutes of turning off the lights. Additionally, the showerhead was broken, and the water pressure was barely noticeable.
- The wifi provided by the hotel was often unstable or unreliable. A suggested tip was to use a personal hotspot connection from a phone for better connectivity.
- There was a lack of shower gel in the provided toiletries, with mostly shampoos available, which was inconvenient for showering.

The staff was helpful. If I could, I would rate it 3.5 out of 5.

I have mixed feelings...

Lovely hotel not too far from any of the key attractions of Bucharest or the Otopeni airport.

Cosy rooms, very professional staff, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg!

There's also a supermarket (Mega Image) around the corner for supplies.

Lovel hotel

The Capital Plaza Hotel is a great choice for travelers looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Bucharest. The hotel is located in a prime location, within walking distance of major attractions. 
The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities such as flat-screen TVs, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi.  
The staff at the Capital Plaza Hotel are friendly, helpful, and attentive to guests' needs, making sure that their stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They are always willing to offer suggestions for things to do and see in Bucharest and provide assistance with any requests.
I highly recommend the Capital Plaza Hotel for anyone visiting Bucharest.

Nice stay over

Courteous staff which paid attention to all special requests I’d sent them with my booking. Comfortable room, well equipped with all the up-to-date facilities. The windows isolated the outside noise pretty well. 
 
Bathroom was clean, however not spotless clean; discovered some long black hair strands beneath the heating system. Reported at the reception, but they didn’t manage to remove it during my entire stay. 

Ordered a cabbie at the reception and instead of a order number the clerk wrote for me the number plate of the cabbie which arrived after a few minutes. The driver kept complaining and swearing about the traffic applying the most vulgar Romanian terms. At the destination the taximeter displayed double the usual fare. I’ve a reason to suppose that the clerk/hotel got a commission. 

There’s a list with TV-channels in the room. It didn’t live up to expectation. All the channels were in disarray, some English language news channels weren’t available at all and the display quality was extremely poor. 

Enjoyed their breakfast which featured fresh and tasty local products. The fruit juices and coffee were of high quality. However, at 60RON (around 12EUR) in a country with an average monthly salary of 200EUR, it was quite steep. 

Bottom line: They could improve some small details. In my opinion they deserve a solid 3 stars	category. I’d like to consider their services again.

Basicly good, but improveable

We stayed at Capital Plaza for 3 nights. My first impression of the hotel was great - nice rooms, very clean and tidy, and very good breakfast with everything needed and even more. But the good part ends here. The hotel management really doesn't care about the guests. On the second night of our stay there was a wedding. The music was so loud that we couldn't sleep at all and after a couple calls to the reception with no result we were forced to go downstairs and force them to do something at 2AM. Well, they gave as another room on the 5th where the music was still incredibly loud (yes, 5th floor feels like you're at the party) . We've been to a lot of hotels that host such events but they all had soundproofing or at least used to close the door on the event hall... 
After that sleepless night we had another bad surprize - the breakfast was closed at 10AM although the receptionist mentioned it closes 11AM multiple times during checkin. When we asked why the response was "It closes at 11 AM only on Saturday and Tuesday, I am sorry". And nothing... just another excuse that we havent' received what we've paid for. Then we called the manager on duty who told the waiter to bring us 2 small sandwiches as an excuse but still that wasn't enough. They should have at least refunded the 12EUR we paid for breakfast or maybe offered something else. You should beg literally for everything and nothing happends until you get rude with them which is very, very bad experience and shoudn't happen in a 4-star hotel. 

I wouldn't stay again here although the facility was nice and well maintained.
