This place is magical. You can reach it via a short dirt road. Once you crossed the wooden bridge over the lovely spring, you’ll see a little garden area with some green and plenty of space to do BBQ for up to 30 people (we tried it, it worked great). By now you’ve definitely been welcomed by the dog and at least by one of the cats of the house and also by Florin, one of the owner (later about him in more detail).
The house looks exactly the same as on the pictures. You enter into a long hall. On your right is the huge lunchroom and at the back of it is the well equipped kitchen. Microwave, oven, two huge fridges, all sort of utensils, glasses, plates in the cupboards.
The first and second floors are full of rooms. Each has its own bathroom, with a shower cabin, hairdryer and heating. The bedrooms are equipped with with a big cupboard, a massive bed and some chests. We were among the lucky ones and had our own balcony. The view is stunning!!! The area is super quiet, definitely a great place to relax and rest.
Breakfast is optional, but it is super tasty, Florin and his wife Veronica were preparing home-made cookies every morning!
A little more about Florin. He is super kind, always ready to give us a helping hand and caring! If you kindly ask him, he will bring you food or drinks from the local village, as it is a bit far from the pension. One day we were late and he sent text message to our guide, being concerned where we are. On our last day some of us got sick due to a dinner in a restaurant nearby, and he gave us tee and medicines as well, as soon as he realised what is going on. 
I’ll always be grateful for him and his wife too, for the hospitality and care they showed towards us the whole week we’ve been there.

The place is wonderful, but the owners are second to none

Quaint, near a small river(great place to meditate/relax), quiet, clean rooms, great hosts. Will go again the next chance i get. Would definetly recomend alongside the relatively easy 2.5-3h climb to the Valea Sambetei Cabin with some of the best views in the area.

For this trip (3 nights) I traveled with my 3.5 year old. I was searching for a very quiet and peaceful place and my objective was to have a few days with very fresh air for my son in a safe environment. 

I've found this accommodation through booking and Google and I was pleased to get exactly what they advertised for + some more: 

• a clean room (clean bathroom, sheets, floors) which was equipped with a very comfortable double bed, with plenty of furniture where you can put your luggage, clothes and other items you need on hand, a balcony and widows with forest and garden view. There's nothing luxurious, but everything is clean and functional 
• a very big garden, well maintained where I could drink my coffee, have a snack or drink a beer in the evening
• a playground with a big trampoline, a small plastic castle, a sand pit and sand toys. My son was very happy for these and it was almost fully entertained by other guest's kids and the owner's kids playing and running in the fresh air all day long. 
• easy access to Sâmbāta small river (within 20 meters from the guesthouse) - another romantic yet fun place to explore 

+ a shared fully equipped kitchen were I was allowed to cook whichever meals I wanted for me and my son (storage space in a fridge included) 
+ the owner helped me with my luggage without me asking for it 
+ the owners were very friendly without being intrusive and they answered every question and offered some great hints about what could I do with a 3 year old in the surrounding area. We had small talks here and there and this way I didn't feel alone as a single adult with a small child. 
+ the owner made my reservation via phone with no added costs 
+ the owner even took some of my son's dirty pants which I forgot near the trampoline and washed them 
+ even if the owners and their family live in a separate house on the property I had the feeling that I visited a family home and not a business resort 
+ the other guests were very nice people and we were not bothered with laughs, loud talks or any other noises during our stay. 
+ wifi working great everywhere on the property

Possible inconveniences

- no grocery store around (you must drive 8 km to the village Sambata de Sus) 
- the owner's puppy can be annoying at times as he jumps on guests and runs free through the garden
- not many restaurants around

I've been there for several times and I will come back. It's a place of haven for everyone - children, adults.

I don't really know what to say more. It's my dream .....you have to go there in order to understand the feeling. 

My dream

We had a perfect time in a perfect place. The house is clean an comfortable. Have inside everithing we needed. Ouside all around green and a litle river. The owners are very friendly and give everthink and more. Had a perfect dinner every morning from homemade food. Just a piese of heaven. 

Perfect place

I have seen the Belmonte Pension from Sambata de Sus since the very beginning of it and  each time I went there it's like a little piece heaven for me and my family. Every year they offers more on each level of wellbeing. I will note their services as excelent on the part of accommodation, with big bright rooms with laaarge beds and generous terraces where you can relax into the morning while your enjoying a delicous fresh breakfast or you can join the everyone in a spacious dining room. The kitchen it's equipped full option and  if I needed to do something specific for my dougther when she was little there are plenty of dishes and appliances also. And even if the pension it is fully occupied there are plenty of place to eat in or outdoor. Specially I recommend the barbecue made by the owner and house specilities who are more then tasty. 
But the main characteristic of this enchanting Belmonte it is the friendliness of the whole owners family who with absolute no discrimination gives you the best suport of what ever your needs are. Their delightful childrens share every  trampoline , swing, bike etc and finnally your childrens feel that they are in to the most natural full of wonder playground where everybody it's welcomed.
If you are looking for a relaxing time, Belmonte have the benefit of the river in front , the mountains in the backyard and the serenity of a very close ancient special monastry.   Near by there is also o small ski track for the winter, a adventure park with recreationals sports for the summer and there it is also near the point of departure to noumerous mountains hiking . 
I make each year time to go there even for few days to enjoy all that Belmonte through his owners have the best to give! I highly recomend to try and enjoy Belmonte !

A little piece heaven

When you lose something and there is not hope to find that again, when nothing and no one could help you to reach a goal and you are hopeless there is a sayng : is gone on the Sambata waters. And amazing or not the Sambata waters does exist for real and are floating near the BELMONTE pension. For me and my family there is a place where i go every time when i could. Winter, spring, summer, autumn is the same warm and nice place where we find the best hospitality, clean rooms and the open cuisine where we could prepare the food for our daughter, for us and with the owners who, apropos are very nice people, could prepare special meals like fish, barbeque, cheese from the sheeps of the region and others and others. Every time we were there there was plenty of child. It is a quite place, safe and the people are coming with their child who are finding a great playground in side and especially outside,And the water with his sound in the night is the best antidepressive and antidot for stress.
