Hotel Ary

Nice hotel in a quiet area, still close to the town center and very close to the ''CFR Cluj ''  football stadium - only 0.5 k distance , fair prices and very tastefull breakfast. All staff very nice and all speak enghlish.

Bussines trip to Cluj

Stayed for three nights. Did not like the location . Though it is quite close to the main railway station ( around 10 minute walk) for me it was not good because I needed the city center. The hotel is located in a quite neighborhood , has nice rooms (some need urgent maintenance..), Breakfast is descent. The elevator is very strange: it is needed to push & hold the button till you reach your destination !!!

Far from city center !

Hardly a 2 star hotel. Outdated hotel, near the Station but far out the historical centre. Dirty, cold, uninviting restaurant. Breakfast was ok. The elevator takes ages to go up or down.. it's a joke. Some members of the group had a very old matrass and slept instead on the couch.

Terrible experience starting from reception, an elevator that moves with speed of a snail, rooms with no windows outside and heavy smell to breakfast that includes leftovers from dinner. And by the way, don’t tell them, they will take it really personal :(

The hotel is not that bad situated and the staff was very helpful. However, the room was terrible. The funny thing is that I was given a suite which should have been a nice touch if the room itself would have been rationally designed.The living area had  had an opren sofa and no TV, a desk that had no purpose and 2 seats and a coffee table facing the door. The bedroom was a bit crowdy: a fireplace, a big desk..the pillows were pretty thick and  hard. The bathroom was big, the shower battery was terrible, as it spread water all over the place. I personally prefer showers in a hotel, So the corner bathroom was too much for me. The sink was a bit scary, as I saw a swinging electrical cable dangerously close to the water tap. The elevator would only work if you kept pushing the button was quite funny, as well as a middle room that had no outside window, but an opening towards the hallway.I wonder who would wanna stay there for the night . The only satisfying thing was the breakfast food, but not the coffee which was terrible.

Short trip

Booked in for a week for arrived 4am the room was terrible and not what i booked for. Had to sleep on a sofa bed as no airconditioning in the bedroom. Asked to move the hotel said was full. Breakfast cold. Checked out to another hotel the following day to another hotel. I had to pay upfront and the hotel would not refund my money back. No way a 4 star hotel.
