This hotel is fairly basic but if you're after a good night's sleep, a clean, spacious room and a low price then you can't go far wring with it. For £35 a night the rooms were very good, they are modern and open and the beds are comfortable. The scenery is average and the area is residential and a bit removed from the centre of Cluj, but it is a short walk to the shops and the airport is just around the corner. The service is fine if unremarkable and everything in my room was in working order and I had absolutely no complaints. As a solo traveller it suited me fine.

Cheap but clean and comfortable

The arrival at the facility is behind the church in an alley.
As the area is close to the airport and well known for car theft, we opted to have a parking. The person on the phone seemed cold but ensured, a safe parking is available.
After many kilomenters on the non existing highways in Romania we arrived and saw an outside parking, with free acces to the cars. Even more, the parking is in a very dark spot wehere thieves can operate without been spotted or bothered.
The owner who also is the receptionist, passed us deliberately, in the most expensive place in the building. We were tired and accepted.
Prices are not adapted to the market and the owner sets the price, according to your clothes. 
Breakfast is lame. 
Rooms are like stables, who have been modernized a little.
Floors were clean, but even if the sheets were cleab, you could smell heavy sweat on the bed itself. Lack of propoer cleaning! 
Looking outside you have a view to the parking, the road, or the back yard filled with junk. 
The owners answer to any question is, "no... because people only transit our establishment" . To avoid!

Sarcasm for big bucks

Unfortunately this accommodation was the only bad experience we had in Cluj. We came here during the Untold festival and booked a double room for 4 nights. We were confirmed to have a double bed (this counted when we chose this place). We arrived very late (1:30 AM) and had to pay an extra service fee in order for someone to come and check us in (we thought this was quite normal). We checked in and we noticed we had twin beds. Since it was very late, we did not have a choice and we accepted. Also, we had another issue : the room we got was on the top floor and had a big window on the ceiling and another small one on one side. None of these windows had any curtains. Due to that, starting with 6:30 AM, the room was full of light and even more than that, one bed was in direct sunlight (through the window on the ceiling). It was simply a nightmare to sleep after 6:30 AM. Since we were there for this big festival , we were coming to sleep late in the night (4 – 5 AM) and could not rest at all. After 2 nights we were zombies….
The second day I mentioned these issues to the reception. I said I could accept the twin beds but we have to solve the light problem. They told me there were no other rooms available and they cannot do anything. They advised me to call their manager. I did that, explained the problems we encountered but I was treated with arrogance and I was told I will be called back later. Of course, no one called me back. I spent 4 nights like this, sleeping with a towel over my head. 
Before our departure, before the last night, I asked the reception to allow me to check out a bit later, as a small favor to compensate for all the issues we had. They told me the check out time was 11 AM. Everywhere inside the building, the written check out time was 11:30 AM. We even checked our booking details and of course the time was 11:30. The lady at the reception told me again to call the manager and ask him if I can check out later. I did that and again I was treated with the same arrogance from a man that simply should never work in tourism ever. He said finally we can check out 30 min later. We said ok. However, the next day, the cleaning ladies started to knock on the door at 11  AM and at 11:30 simply wanted to enter the room. We had to insist and tell them to talk to the reception because we had an agreement for a delay of 30 min (until 12 PM). This attitude simply amazed us. 
As a conclusion, the place doesn’t look bad but the services and the overall experience was awful. The manager of this place (Mr Cionca) simply does not know what tourism means. I would never come to this place again and I would advise everyone to avoid it. The services offered here are suitable for the poorest country in Africa (although the fees we payed are quite west European – over 100 EUR/night).  Cluj is such a beautiful city with very nice people and really nice places to go. This place and the services offered, the arrogance and superior attitude from management is something all of us should discourage. Such places do not fit in a modern tourism landscape.

Very bad experience and services, rude and arrogant manager !

I was visiting with a Volunteer Group and arrived late on a Saturday night. Super tired. Had to carry my luggage up the stairs after a 13+ hour flight. I opened the door to the room and it was decent. Fine for one night. BUT...the air conditioner did not work! It was over 80F that day! SO hot. I got into the restroom to take a shower after my long flight and the light did not work! Ok whatever. I managed by using the light from my cell phone. Hopped into shower and NO HOT WATER. But if you are staying here for a night, its fine. I didn't try the breakfast, coffee or any of those amenities. 

No working AC, bathroom light or hot water.

Clean, bathroom was ok, near to airport and easy to get a bus into the city - too far to walk.  Breakfast was good.  You are on the flight path and there doesn't seem to be curfew so as long as you can deal with the sounds you are fine.

Close to Airport

This small Hotel was looking like a family business. The Hotel staff was friendly and in the mornings they serve freshly made omelettes for breakfast. It is the perfect location for your first or last night in Cluj because is almost opposite to the Airport.

A highly recommended place near to Cluj Airport

It is a very clean place and very good to spend the night for the next day flight. The owner was very dlexible to change thw room when we requested and they have poaibility to park your car for a longer period if want to let it there
