Lovely apartment, very big and spacious , clean,warm and very nice people.Perfect location for a city break, and it was right in the centre with a lovely view on the main street.Medieval vibes , it really is something you do not see very often, it goes very well with the Cluj theme.

Lovely apartment, perfect location 

Stayed for 1 night in the Retro apartment. It really is retro decorated and is very spacious. It is right on the Eroilor boulevard overlooking the Unirii square which has a lot of parking spots available. It was at the 3rd floor of an old building with no elevator.
It is a really good place to start exploring Cluj since you are close to almost everything.
I gave it a 4 out of 5 because the bathroom needs a little improvement. In a sense that the shower is very difficult to use and the sink would need a replacement.
Anyway a very good place.

Starting point to explore Cluj

Stayed for a week in the Retro Apartment, in the very center of the city.

The apartment is huge, tastefully decorated, yet maintaining the historical building flavor. All amenities available, just felt like my second home in Cluj. Amazing views towards the main city square. 

The only slight downside that comes with the location is the city noise, but it was nothing that some year plugs and the double glazed windows couldn’t resolve. 

I will return for sure! And big thank you to Radu, who was extremely helpful and promptly answered all my questions.  

Absolutely amazing

We stayed in the Retro apartment that overlooks the main square in Cluj. 

The apartment is spacious, nicely decorated and I would say have all the utilities one might need to stay a few days and visit the city. 
The advantage is that you just go out and you are in the center, you have where to have a drink, eat and even buy groceries without having to move much. 

The main disadvantage though is the parking as the apartment offers no parking. The city also made it incredible annoying to park in the center which is limited to 2 hours from early morning till around 6 if I remember right. So if you are from outside the city and don't want to go an repay your parking every 2 hours is annoying. Also it adds us $ which is again inconvenient. 

Also main door closes quite hard as you need to push it hard and it creates a terrible noise which I guess for the people actually living there is an extra inconvenient noise. 
And there is no elevator so just bear in mind you need to go up till the last floor so might want to pack lightly or be prepared for a few stairs jogging :) 

Even though the apartment was clean when we arrived that was not he case with the bathroom and when we opened the cupboard behind the mirror in above the sink. Pitty because all the rest looked properly cleaned. 

Overall I am not giving this a 3 start rating but a 4 because I believe the Retro apartment is very good located, spacious and with good lights and has proper utilities. What I would recommend is a better attention towards cleaning and considering offering a way of parking for customers even if it means a small increase in the price.

Great location, spacious - needs improvement on cleaning

The interior is charming. The location is beautiful, the center is literally on the square. True, the façade of the building is being repaired, so sometimes someone passed by the windows on the third floor, don't be afraid). The details are beautiful: a soft sofa, a couch, lots of beautiful little things. Thank you for the city map and advice on where to go. All the best restaurants for breakfast and dinner are within 3-5 minutes walk. There is a washing machine. And - which is very rare in general - there was olive oil in the kitchen)) I didn't want to leave.

Retro-style apartment right in the center.

Excellent location at Piata Unirii in the heart of the city. There are numerous pubs, cafes and restaurants all around within hardly any walking distance. The apartment is spacious, warm and decorated in an old style. Radu hosting the reservation process is very nice. The shower could be more effective. To get inside in night time for the first time is challenging, since the box where the keys are is not lit and to align the key code digits in darkness is difficult. 

Spacious apartment in the very hart of the city

I stayed in the 120m2 Corvin apartment in the city centre from 31/01 to 05/02. Reservation made via booking.com. 355€ for 5 nights Cluj Apartment is a real estate agency. On booking, there is an organized confusion. Many favorable opinions but which are difficult to attach to one or another. In other words, there must be in this bathroom agency very nice apartments and other very poor quality apartments. See my photos. I regret being blocked at 1 o'clock in the street because I could not open the hot apartment that morning.

Disappointment and Misunderstanding

The apartment is located in a quiet street just behind the city's main square. 
There is free private parking and free internet. 
The apartment is huge, located in an old building, with two huge bedrooms, one with a double bed and another with two beds. There is also a living room and a fully equipped kitchen.
Add to all of that a big shower and you will get a perfect large and convenient apartment, especially for family with children.
In the kitchen you will find an oven, micro, refrigerator and also tools to prepare food.
The apartment is clean and well maintained.
Great staff. Everything you request will be treated, immediately.

Large, beautiful, close to everything, great for families.

The apartment is in the very centre of Cluj, within the pedestrian zone. It is thankful that it has its own parking included. Although the building is old and ugly on the outside, the apartment is completely renovated, very beautiful and functional. I loved the urban decor with a bohemian touch. All the rooms are very spacious and have all the necessary amenities: equipped kitchen (including cafeteria with coffee capsules), bathroom with amenities, towels and dryer, and has air conditioning.

Precious apartment in the center of Cluj.

Avoid Avoid Avoid! We booked a flat for 6 people a week before the Untold festival (August), they have asked us to pay a deposit which we did. 
One day before the check-in they rang us to tell us they realised they overbooked. So basically they took deposits for the same flat both from from us and another group. 
They didn't offer to help in any way, we had to ask them to try to find us something else. They then sent a few suggestions of alternative flats which were either in the middle of the forest, far away from Cluj or some small flats that could only accommodate 6 people with extra inflatable beds and when we got angry and declined their poor suggestions, they started saying that we don't want to cooperate :)). 
We did get the money back but don't book with this company because the day before your stay they might ring to tell you that you don't have any accommodation anymore although a week before they were happy to take the money for it, without even checking!! 
Basically worst customer service ever, very unprofessional!
