We recently stayed at Casa Domneasca in the period 06.08.21-08.08.21 in a family apartment. Here are a few things you should take into account:
1. The children’s playground is nice, a great place if you want your children to have lots of fun. However, you must always be near them as there is no fence dividing the playground from the main street and there is the danger of cars nearby.
2. The food is rather unattractive overall. The only thing we enjoyed is the pizza. Would not recommend dining there. The breakfast is also quite bad. Few options and those that are there are unsatisfactory. The wait for the food in the restaurant is at least one hour and the service is below average.
3. The rooms are pretty much the only thing that is clean in the hotel. They are in desperate need if new towels :))
4. The pool is extremely crowded in week days and weekends as they allow access to locals as well as those staying in the hotel. As you can imagine it is extremely dirty.
5. The service can be good. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. She offered to open the indoor pool for us and allowed us to stay after hours in the outside pool. However, they lack organized protocol. We forgot something in the room and came back the next day only to find that they had thrown it away.

Overall, would not recommend staying here. If you are mainly coming for the pool or playground you can find alternatives in the area which are better

Reality versus expectations

If you are dining outdoors, ask the waiter to shake the dust, otherwise nobody has this habit. Preparations are probably frozen because anything you ordered is ready in 10 minutes. The beauty of the nature is in contrast to what the restaurant offers.

The location is very beautiful, but the service is deplorable.

I stayed here twice with my family and each time it was great. I discovered this place 2 years ago when i wanted to go skiing and i couldn't find a room in Gura Humorului. A friend recommended this place and i was worth it.  The room was clean and elegant. I really appreciated that the bed was comfortable and it had white sheets. We didn't initially planned to eat here but it was too late to go anywhere else so we decided to have dinner there. The food was amazing. We had traditional dishes which tasted like grandma's food.We ate there the entire week afterwards. I recommend this place to everyone who wants to experince Bucovina.

Great experience

Great traditional food and beverages, a lot of local customs during the holidays. You can visit the local salt mine, an old catholique Basilique . Overall a good place to spend the holidays. In the summer an outdoor pool with salt water is open

New year's eve

Looks great from the outside.
The interior is very welcoming, clean rooms but still a little too small . Restaurant prices are unreasonably high and a little inexperienced staff .
Swimming pool and sauna are quite ok , above average, fitness has worn devices , some flaws.
Internet has no coverage until about reception. I saw yet net cable in the room.
In conclusion , I recommend the guesthouse only for one night's accommodation, for an extended stay ... not really worth it.
