If you are looking for a place to recharge your batteries, this is one excelent option. Even if it is located at about 20 min from Sibiu, is isolated enough between mountains and surrounded by dens forest. Right next to the river Steaza, nice combination to listen the river in the silence of the area, while swimming in the open air pool ;)

Relax and enjoy 

I was here with my husband because it was the only place free at that time. Did not regret a moment. Beautiful landscape. Beautiful mountains. It was like home but more mystery and intimacy.
GREAT food. We loved fasole. Good ice cream too.
What we did not like:
- the shower flooded the bathroom every time
- mosquitos
- not too many desserts

2nd honeymoon

The pension is located in a very beautiful place, very close to a small mountain river, all rooms have view to a wonderful oak forest on a mountain wall, perfect view to wake up to every morning; heated pool, very good food, traditional courses, especially trout, good service, nice hosts, a bit pricy the food, good price for accomodation

Beautiful location

We were lucky to stay inside the main building - our room of 12 beds looked like it was a new addition.  It was super cozy, and luckily, our group of six was able to take up one entire side of the room.  The service was very friendly, and the food was decent, if not incredibly great.  The one downside is that the only "facilities" are outside, which means that if you have to go to the bathroom while it is raining at night, you have to get all your rain gear on before heading out into the darkness!

Cozy mountain hut

It could have been our best hotel during our lovely holidays in Romania, but the service was not good at all.
First we came there in the end of the day (after a long day trip) and they told us the swimmingpool (main reason why we book the hotel for our kids play) was closed (even in the summer they close it 19:00!) BTW when we got there it was 18:30, but we wasn't allowed anyway.
We had dinner in the restaurant from the hotel and food was ok and service as well (the young people working there really was trying them best way more than the manager).
Around 21:00 We went to bed and it was very warm (there is no airco, that means we have to open the windows!), but for our surprise our "neighbours" from the apartment nexdoor was smoking in the balcony and all that smoke would come to our room! I went down to complain with the manager and she told me that was allowed!? I remember her that I booked a non smoking room and I couldn't understand this rule: you aren't allowed to smoke in the room, but the smoke from the balcony can come inside of the room and that shouldn't be a problem?!?
I asked her to please do something as I had 2 kids, I am allergic and definitely way warm to keep the windows closed... unfortunatelly I had to end-up sleeping with my windows closed... very frustrating!
Next morning kids was excited to go enjoy the pool as again it was around 35°, but at 10:00 pool still was closed?!? We thought it was strange as all the signs said from 10:00. We again went to ask the manager and they told us that first we should wait until someone come to clean it... conclusion: pool was open 10:45 only!
I could go on, but I don't like to keep complain about how bad the service is.
