Hotel Diamond & Complex Ovi

The place was full. No free rooms, buț we had lunch there, enjoyed the terrace and the beautiful summer day. 
Like in other touristic places, not enough personnel. 
I saw the rooms, they are quite spacious, bathrooms are nice and the balconies on the lake side are beautiful.
Internet was poor but the beer 🍻 was ice cold and we had a lovely afternoon. 

Very nice hotel, large double room.
Very nice big bed with soft mattress.( they solved this problem)
Clean white sheets.Hair dryer in the bathroom.
Fridge in the room.
Had to ask for the change of towels daily but it wasn't a problem.
No problem with the noise from the restaurant ( we had a room on the 1'st floor facing the lake , we didn't hear much noise and we could sleep with the window open).
Good restaurant with decent food.
The "papanași " desert is great!
I recomend this hotel for a family stay.

Incredible view on Cincis lake 

Good 4* hotel!

The hotel needs an upgrade. The rooms are basic and a bit kitch in terms of decoration. You don' t feel at all in a 4 stars hotel,maximum a 3 stars one. There is no attention to details ( ripped towels,no proper toiletries, empty fridge). A pity ,as the lake and area  arw beautiful. Not planning to go back

Not what expected

When we reserved the rooms we haven't check the reviews here :( we have arrived late in the evening, after the reception lady called us to say that is better that we'll be late so they will have enough time to clean the house. Just words, we arrived 5 hours latter (at 11pm) and even the garbage wasn't taken. There is no point in saying about the bathrooms, bed linen and so on. But we found clean towels :) Anyway, the place promises a lot but the stuff leaves it to be desired. Lack of interest is at home. Sin!

Disappointing

My review is only for restaurant and is 2*
-Pretty long waiting time for food; the food server was kind- this was the only good thing for today
-my sister asked for a coffe which was served almoust cold and tasteless 
-I almoust had the feeling that the food ingredients was canned. ...not fresh....except some simple salad. 
-the menu's presentation is so poor more like an old 1-2* location
-for sure the cheff need more school or need to be changed
-bottom line my impression was that this location does'nt look bad but the food, public bathrooms and pretty much the cleaning for all public areas are Low quality.
-if I will come back and visit this area I will look for another restaurant.
-advice: submit for HOTEL IMPOSSIBLE show 


Let's hope that this is Not the best choice 

We held a summer party at the Diamond Hotel with over 50 people, with our own music band and a DJ that we brought along.
The location is beautiful on the lake and has an extraordinary view. The pool is also great and the water is over 30 degrees, so it was wonderful to party into the night. Some of the rooms were in poor condition, with stains on the carpets, walls and bed linen. Many smaller details were dilapidated in quality or poorly maintained. The staff at the reception were indifferent and inattentive, often not on site and difficult to reach. However, I must praise the waiters at the pool bar, although they were very young, they moved quickly and made a lot of effort! We knew in advance that the food would not win any prizes, it was rather of average sometimes below average quality. None of this would have bothered us due to the excellent atmosphere in the team, had it not been for the fact that 80% of the troupe found themselves bent over the toilet bowls during the night and in the morning on the day of departure. We collectively suffered food poisoning with nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea. An ambulance had to come as some were in danger of becoming unconscious. Among them was a pregnant woman who had to be given infusions for 3 days. You can avoid such things if you attach great importance to hygiene, especially in gastronomy, which the Hotel Diamond definitely does not do. It is a real pity, because I believe that with a little good will, the location could be massively upgraded without major investment, but as I said, I suspect there is a lack of motivation here.

We were a group of more than 50 people and stayed here for 2 nights. More than 60%  of us went home with food poisoning and some of us went to the hospital.

Rooms - Dirty
Pool - water dirty and looked like it wasn't changed this year at all

I can't recommend this hotel to anyone! 
Avoid it if you are in the area. 
It doesn't deserve its 4 stars at all

Horrible place! Avoid it!!!

The rooms are equipped with natural mosquito nets in form of spider webs rich with fresh catches. You can also find these on every beach umbrella and under the tables.
Cleanliness in general was an issue. The restaurant service was pretty slow, the food simple quite far from a  4 star. We only ate at the hotel's restaurant during our 2 nights stay and got serious food poisoning that lasted for 3 more days.

Great if looking for food poisoning

I do not recommend this place. Despite the fact that it is a place with a beautiful view, I received food poisoning. The pool was incredibly cloudy and full of chemicals to keep it clean ... the facilities are outdated and do not reflect the reality shown in the pictures.

Bad food. Came home with food poisoning!

It does not deserve the 4 stars because it does not have the conditions and facilities of a 4 star hotel.

minuses:
- Cleaning in the room only "where guests see".
- Washed bed linen, but old and with yellow stains on it and other strange stains.
- Spiders and some other gases around the room and where you look on the terrace, restaurant, full of spider webs and dust everywhere.
- The air conditioning could not be used due to the odor emitted. The smell died badly if we let it go for 1 minute.
- In the bathroom there is no soap or shampoo, only a shower gel half consumed. The drain in the shower is clogged and water is flowing. Maximum worn toilet brush, dirty and with stagnant dirty water in the container.
- Wifi only at the reception because the signal does not reach the room.
- Dirty and rusty sunbeds on the pontoon.
- The pool is cleaned only on weekends when customers come from outside and during the week uncleaned and you swim among all the dead gases.
- On weekends you do not have room at the pool and restaurant for customers who come from outside the hotel and do not benefit from anything because you are their customer.

pluses:
- Excellent location and fine atmosphere in that area.
- Swimming pool with hot water and DJ who plays fine music at the pool.
- The mini fridge in the room worked perfectly.
- Luckily I had clean towels in the bathroom, at least that's all.
- Grandma's food, we just waited an hour to get a free meal and an hour and a half to receive the order.

The owner, Ovi, is arrogant and with a superior behavior towards customers. From the way he talks on the phone to accommodation, to the way he treats your spit when you ask him for something.
