Location 5/5: Pestisorul Pension is located in the locality of Dunavatul de Jos, terminal for asphalt and cars, from here advancing in the Delta only on water, with boats! The location has a generous parking lot located nearby and a spacious restaurant!

Accommodation 5/5: Pensiunea Pestisorul is equipped with generous, clean rooms, with new furniture..the bathroom is spacious, clean, equipped with a generous bathtub..the bedding is clean, it changes daily..the only downside I would have is pillows: they are too small for such a generous bed, larger pillows are suitable ... otherwise everything is as it should be so you can enjoy a hassle-free stay!

Food 5/5: I hope the owners of the boarding house pay for their chef because everything that comes out of that kitchen door looks insane, smells insane and tastes insane! I ate the best Dobrogean tochitura of all tried so far! My father-in-law was delighted with the sleeping dishes..the fish soup, the juicer, the caviar platter..all were up to par! The icing on the cake instead was the Dobrogean pie! Rainbow on the palate !! I didn't find any flaws! Excellent taste! Also here I would like to add that the cow's cheese is insane (I will keep abusing this word for this review :)) and this is an additional proof for the way the hosts try to make everything superlative!

Entertainment 5/5: Although the pension has enough facilities to "kill time" (outdoor pool, pool and table tennis tables, trampoline for the little ones, pontoon arranged for fishing, kayaks), the piece of resistance is the organization boating (a common practice throughout the Delta by the way) with qualified and experienced staff .. the hosts offered us a 10-hour walk through which we discovered a good part of the beauty of the Delta! It is necessary to access a boat ride through the Delta, although the price may seem prohibitive, but Delta you can not discover it from the pontoon or from the balcony of the pension, but only by letting the boat walk on all the canals and lakes of this magical place called The Danube Delta!

Hospitality 5/5: I was rarely allowed to see more involved hosts with a clear mission: customer satisfaction, as are the owners of Pestisorul Pension! Being a family business, everyone in the family is involved and I do my best to satisfy all your desires and desires so that you, a tourist looking for a perfect stay, can have it! And this works great for them! And this pleasant feeling of hospitality does not stop at the hosts of the place..continue with the waiters of the restaurant: each of them is kind to you, with a smile on their face, striving to have the best possible service .. here I would mentioned Ionut Cercel, who served us at the table during the whole stay and I tell you honestly, this man should come on the Romanian coast and in the rest of the country, and teach teaching lessons to those in the industry, because it is far a rare avis in this field! People like him who work in HoReCa think you can count them on the fingers of one hand, the rest are just amateurs!

Epilogue: Although 2020 was a difficult year, which put the HoReCa industry to the test and continued with 2021, here are a handful of people trying their best to provide quality services, focused entirely on customer satisfaction and loyalty! It is not an easy or cheap thing!

All the respect and admiration for Pestisorul Pension! This is how tourism is done! The others take out a pen and a sheet and take notes, because you are correct in this regard!

Best location for your holiday trip! I highly recommend this place!

 Although we were not staying there the place looks clean and the staff is friendly. Also there is a pool, kids park and they have boats to have delta trips. Food is good, of course if you are near (or in) delta fish is the food to have.

Pros:
-Clean rooms
-Air conditioning

-Right on the water
-The hotel can schedule excursions for you on the delta and a boat picks your party up on the dock.  We had an all day tour and saw pelicans, snakes, egrets, cormorants, and much more; however I would reccomend a shorter trip.
-We had a room with a balcony, although most rooms didn't.
-Very friendly people
-Excellent service
-Nice included breakfast
-Delicious lunch and dinner at downstairs restaurant (I would reccomend the grilled carp/crap)

Cons:
-Wifi didn't work at all
-Rooms were small

Overall:
My family and I stayed 3 nights at Pensiunea Pestisorul and we thought that 2 nights was enough.  During that time you can go on an excursion to see the delta and then jump in the pool.  Altogether, my family and I had a relaxing and enjoyable time at this quaint hotel.

Great for a Taste of the Danube

Very nice rooms, clean and with everything you need inside. Very good food and nice serving, with fresh fish plats. We ordered 4 type of plats and all of them were exceptional. Probably the best fish soup in the region.Totally recommend! 

Worth the hipe

We actually have stayed at Pensiune Pelicanul with belongs to the  same owners and is just 50 m from Pensiunea Pestisor but not yet on Trip Advisor as this is her first summer open. The Hotel is amazing huge rooms in our  apartment flat screen tv, AC , some toiletries. Clean  and peaceful. The  swimming pool is bigger than Pestisorul and has also small children area in  the pool. The  food in the  restaurant  has decent prices and the  fish is fresh. They can  arrange boat trips for guests at fair prices.The  staff is helpfull and polite. We will be  back as It was a great escape for us  and the children.
- breakfast (that is included) not so diverse if you stay for several days. Pool is clean and big enough for what  we needed, the kids enjoyed it very much. I recomend the  rooms with street view because it  was quiet if you have  pool view maybe some noise from it not  sure. Hope that was helpful and enjoy your  stay.

Very good place to stay.

The room was very clean and modern, the food was really good, especially the fish. We  had amazing boat trips for two days. The hotel is located at the border with the wonderful Delta, it'is a very quiet area and you can enjoy some very good fish by the pool. The fish soup was realy good.

Nice place

We wanted to chose the restaurant for a fish dinner. Unfortunately the service was absent. The terrace was full of flies but no waiters. And when a waitress appeared served only people that stayed at the pension. When we asked about the menu they were rude and without the desire to help. So we left very disappointed.
