The views are stunning! Just breathtaking! If you want a quiet place where to hear anly the nature this is the place. Nice&polite staff, clean rooms. And don t worry about location, you can reach Bran in max 15min.
 Will be back for sure!

Excellent stay!

This place is literally heaven on Earth. More precisely, it's the perfect place to escape and blend in the nature and all the golden views that Garden Resort offers. The food is EXCELLENT and the staff is very friendly. Even if we stayed for just 3 days, we felt as being part of a family. Everything we needed was there and way more than we expected!

A "must go" !

We all ate today at the restaurant and the food was absokutely delicious. The chef came to greet us and ask us about the food which brought a smile on our faces. On all our behalf we reccomend eating here!

Best restaurant in the area

This place is blessed in terms of location with stunning views either way and a short hop from some of Romania’s most charming locales. Alas it’s cursed with management that goes beyond hapless. Arriving after a trying drive from Bucharest it took a goodly while to procure a drink and my ordered main course simply never manifested - it didn’t come. My soup, after a lot of urging, did appear however it was stone cold. The room? Ok, it was a good size, reasonably clean and with a great view but... the bedsheets didn’t fit, the shower was falling off the wall and sundry other quibbles that a fixit chap could fix in 15 mins. Added to that other guests were showing zero consideration all night long. România needs to rid herself of these sort of places pronto before she can be taken seriously as a tourist destination.

Don’t, just don’t 

I have never written a negative review but I feel I have to because of the treatment I received at the hands of the staff. 

I stayed at this pensiune for two nights. On the first night, it took one and a half hours to receive drinks and food we had ordered. 

When my food came (it was a vegan roulade from the freezer) I did not like the flavor of it. I explained this to the waiter and said I would obviously pay, because it is not the pensiune’s fault. I asked if I could have some chips and salad, which I was also prepared to pay for. The waiter wrote this down but it never arrived. My boyfriend’s meal did not arrive at all. We were given the vin fiert for free because of this. 

So, if it was just bad service I would not be writing this review however the actions of the staff on the second night prompted me to speak out: I ordered a simple dish of unseasoned trout with boiled potatoes, we all ordered our food way in advance, at 5pm, so we would get it by  7pm. The order was on time on this day because we ordered two hours in advance. However, next to my plate there was just a small cake fork. When I asked the person who was waiting on the table politely to replace this he replied with “maybe we put it there because we think you are like a child.”

This, coupled with sheets that don’t fit the bed in the room and difficulty accessing this resort in the snow due to the steep access road,  makes me rate this pensiune as terrible. 

Furthermore, I can see that other people have had similar experiences and I suspect the ‘excellent’ reviews are all people the owner knows or the regulars who hang out with the owner’s husband/chef playing pool.

Terrrible Service and Surly Staff

I enjoyed a long weekend at the resort. I had nice meals there. Very friendly personnel. The room was cleaned daily and had all you need. Breathtaking views from any room you choose, the resort is literally on the top of a hill. Near to Bran castel and other attractions in Moieciu. 

Marvelous views. Quiet stay. Good food. 

This guesthouse is located on top of a hill and it received us with warmth, great food and a splendid view of the mountains. It was exactly what we needed when we got away from the city. The road to it was long but it was well worth it. The days spent here went away quickly in what I can only call serenity. Wait until you breathe that air and see those mountains, and the little red and blue and green little houses down below. You will not want to leave.

Relaxing, peaceful, a great place to recharge

Located on a ridge, it is one of the few guesthouses to offer brilliant views of either the Bucegi or Piatra Craiului mountains, depending on which side of the hotel your room is on. And then there was the food..... Although it might not be the fastest in Romania, we were absolutely delighted with both its quality, quantity and price. The restaurant also has incredible views over Piatra Craiului. The cleanliness and general decor of the rooms and the guesthouse in general made it feel like an expensive hotel in a capital city. Obviously a lot of thought had gone into getting this right. 

Negatives? The restaurant could be faster, but our group felt that the quality of the meals made up for this. The snooker/billiards table was also directly under some of the rooms - a curfew of 22:00 might help light sleepers like myself have a better night.

Overall it was a very positive experience and we'll certainly come back.
