How else could I describe it? Beautiful, sunny May day. We want (I was with my wife) to see the resort so that, possibly, I can make a reservation. The door is wide open. Barrier raised. Holiday resort. I come to see, to know. A person with a golf cart addresses us: "What are you looking for here?" It's private property! Get out ! ». I pretend I didn't hear right. "We were watching too. Maybe let's have a coffee and get to know the location." "You came here to make a mess. Where are you from ? » « Next door » (We were staying at a guesthouse next door). "Go and make a mess there! Get out ! »
This is how the tourist is treated at this complex. Do you think I would try to make a reservation there?
I hope it was an unfortunate incident and that this is not the culture in the beautiful Puflene resort

Numbness at a high level

I only recommend it for a walk.
Pluses:
- the resort is big
- suitable for children, many places to play
- the outdoor pool is nice, right on the lake 
Minuses:
- the furniture in the rooms is very old
- the food is buffet style, it is not diversified, it has nothing to do with what buffet means
-spa does not work (even if it was mentioned in the offer)
- in the same period with us there were 2 groups who had reserved tables at the restaurant and we the other tourists stayed in the corner. It doesn't seem normal to me to be marginalized, on our own money. They could at least let us know.
I would definitely not return, the price is high for the quality offered.

Dosen’t recommed it

The surroundings are very pleasant, overlooking the Danube Delta.The hotel can never be a 4* anywhere.The spa doesn't work, the pool doesn't have a very clean light and the food leaves much to be desired, repetitive and sometimes poorly made.The rooms are spacious and at least mine was clean and the bed comfortable.

Entourage with charm, but never Hotel 4*.

- boat trips not as advertised
- there is nothing to do in the evenings, the outside bar is closed by 10PM
- there are 2 bridges that goes nowhere and the wood is almost destroyed
- there is a not working SPA

Overall a poor experience and should not be advertised as a resort.

Not as good as adevertised

Stayed here for two nights. The conditions are from a 3star hotel from the 90s. The room is big, but the door was not opening/closing properly, the outside screen broken, the washroom had shower head and ceramic broken.
There aren’t too many food options, more or less same food every day. No vegetarian options.
The pool doesn’t have enough chairs as well.

The price doesn’t match the services. Do not recommend

A great location, located in the heart of the Danube Delta. We were impressed by the beauty of the places, but also by the quality of the services offered. We rented a house located in a more secluded area of the resort, so we had the peace of mind we wanted. The room was large and clean, well maintained, and so was the bathroom. Our towels were changed daily and the room was cleaned, also every day. Clean, cotton bedding, a large terrace outside with chairs and table. food, good prices, large and clean pool. Congratulations to the chef for all the dishes prepared for us! I visited the wine cellar, I recommend the Aligote, a kind of wine specific to dobrogea area. Many recreational places, volleyball court, tennis and football, chapel, children's adventure park, playground, beautiful gardens, mowing grass, many flowering roses, a pond where you can fish, provided you release the catch. And the gorgeous sunsets, enjoyed on the dock, with a prosecco.

Great food, great location

Great food, clean rooms, friendly staff, free and always availabe parking lots. The resort offers a very wide range of activities, it’s impossible you get bored. Oh, and the boat trips… the boat trips are AMAZING! As is the lanscape from the pool!

Fridge and bathroom were dirty it had 5 internet routers but none worked there bad bee hives and a birds nest on the balcony pool was dirty and found a old bandage in the corner of pool absolutely terrible

Very poor

Me and my girlfriend decided that we needed a break from our work schedule so we took a day off and we booked a whole weekend at the “Puflene Resort”. The moment you pass through the main gates of the resort, you realize that you are away from any city and you begin to get along with nature. It is a mixture of wildness and human comfort. On the one hand, you get to see nature in its amazing shape. On the other hand, although you are very close to nature, you feel like you don’t need much, because the resort comes very in handy with your needs. It is kind of a nice feeling, indeed. Right next to the parking spot, there is a big field where you can choose to play either tennis, football or basketball. When we arrived there was a group of children playing a semi-kind of football. They were very cute and, even though they didn’t look like to know much about what they were doing, they seemed to enjoy their time very much. So we went to the reception to take our room key. The ambience was clearly of a vacation-mood. The personnel was very appealing and friendly. They even came with us to show us where our room was located. The room was large, clean and I really enjoyed that the air conditioner was waiting for us turned on. The temperature was really high outside, but when we got into the chilly room, it was absolutely perfect. The bathroom was also spacious, clean and chilly. Then we went to the restaurant, because, obviously, we were really hungry. Both the food and the drinks were diversified and from what we’ve seen from other plates, they looked also delicious. We took some fish and chicken along with two types of sauces and some cooked vegetables. We didn’t expect that the portions were so big, we even struggled to finish. They were delicious, indeed, well cooked and very tasty. There are a lot of paths along the resort which you can take to admire the nature. We have even seen a swan very close to us. It was very very beautiful! There is a big pool outside where we relaxed, drank an orange juice and played in the water. The sunset from there is simply amazing. It makes you feel unique and appreciated. You just want to sit by the side of the pool and watch the amazement of the sun. We really loved walking along the resort in a relaxing, silently mood. The calmness and the green of the nature make you forget about your problems and daily routine. There is also a big tower, where you can climb and have a panoramic view. I honestly was not up for, because I am afraid of heights. There are also games in the nature for children and a few bungalows for those who want to live as close to the nature as possible. It takes some time to get used to the whole resort, since it is huge and you really have a lot to see. We enjoyed our time here and we didn’t even realize when the time passed. We will surely return!

When nature exceeds your expectations

Room situation ok, horrible bathroom and shower, not cleaned properly.
Spa facilities not present, indoor pool not present. Ants in the room, mosquito and spider web on all balconies.
