Everything was fine, very friendly personnel and good food!The room and the bathroom were very clean!Peacefull and relaxing area.We will definitely recommend this place.The road can be hard but it can be done with most cars.

Great!

For our 2-day trip on Transalpina, one of the highest altitude road in Romania, we chose a one-night stay at Bellamy, based on a friend's recommendation. So, after the nice view on top of the mountains we said that nothing would impress us more.... but we were so wrong. 
After the bridge on lake Oasa, the ~15 km dirt road to the pension started. There, just after the bridge, the main road splits and you see a pretty large poster with directions. The dirt road, although is in pretty food shape in the summer/autumn, not having too much gravel, can be a bit risky in the winter, especially 'cause it's quite narrow. But on the bright side, it's not steep and can be easily drove on with a normal car, not only a 4x4. Once you get past the lake, you end up in an opening, with some hotels/villas, but you go deeper :) and after 2-3 more km you really end up in heaven. The place is called "Heaven's Gate"! Bellamy is the furthest villa.
So, beautiful location, I can only imagine that during the winter is even more breathtaking. The rooms are very nice, quite big, you can have a supplementary bed if needed, the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful.
The restaurant is ok, food not diversified but tasty and quite large portions, prepared on the spot (I really liked that the french fries were not frozen ones, but freshly peeled potatoes). And one must try the locally prepared alcoholic beverages "zmeurata" or "afinata" - made from raspberry / cranberries. 
And, on a sunny autumn morning, what could you ask for more than sitting on the open terrace and enjoying a breakfast / coffee / tea... Or even at a clear sky night, when you can see the Milky Way in all its beauty. 
The villa also has an enclosed tennis court, a small playground for kids or even (inside) a sauna and jacuzzi.
Also, you can rent bikes and there a a lot of dirt roads to be conquered :) Or, you can play with the 2 big and friendly dogs - the guards of the villa :)
To sum up, a perfect location, worth to stay and enjoy the scenery.
One aspect is that not all Romanian telecom operators have cell signals in the area, only Vodafone (for the moment, at least)

Spectacular view, cozy place, well-worth a longer visit

This guest house has a nice location, the rooms have a good size, no fridge unfortunately. Breakfast is basic, you don't have too many options. It is a shame, because they not use local products like cheese, ham, others. The other locations(guest houses) from around have better products and restaurant like here. You can do different hiking to Sureanu montain and that's all. In the winter there are some slopes on Sunreanu mountain but the access is horrible, also in the summer and I can imagine how is in winter...

Basic!

We’ve stayed here in December 2018 and the staff and policy are was horrible. Don’t take into consideration any reviews from the past because the management changed!

We received moldy food, the staff is horrible and the prices are much higher than other neighboring accomodations/restaurants. We were woken up by vacuum cleaners! Even if breakfast is included,if you don’t wale up for it, you get nothing and it ends at 9:30 am. I am on vacation!!

Horrible staff and experience

We've been there over the weekend, for skiing at Sureanu. The hotel is located on a side and very narrow road, about 500m from the DJ road that takes you to Sureanu ski resort. Like all the roads in the area, this one is unpaved and you definitely need snow chains to access the location. However, every morning, at least one car couldn't manage to exit the road, blocking the road for more than 1h. 1st morning, there was one car equipped with both winter tyres and snow chains, and the 2nd morning there was a 4x4 that got stucked. The owner of the hotel offered no support at all, even if we've understood that this is happening quite often. He reacted with lack of common sense when the tourists asked him why wasn't he trying to help them, yelling that the road was public and not his duty to make it accessible. The hotel is at the end of the road and the only building on it. We had to ask for help at a nearby pension, and a tractor pulled the cars out of the road. The 2nd morning, the 4x4 that got stucked was the 1st car trying to exit, so basically everyone at the hotel was blocked for over 90 min. Unless you are on Vodafone, there is absolutely no signal. The owner claimed we should have called 112 to get us out, as that was not his business. 
The rooms are nice but the hotel has no special room for ski equipment, so you need to take your ski boots into the room. 
The restaurant is basically a dining room, and half of the dishes from the menu are not available. 
The breakfast is a sort of a la carte. They have a tank of poor pre-made coffee and one of tea and they have no other beverages. If you want water, you have to buy it. 
I would not recommend this place and I don't understand why it's ranked so high on booking.com.
