I was passing by and had some delicious mushroom soup and some trout with polenta followed by a cold beer. Most of the food there looked tasty, appetizing and fit for a king :) The location has a great view of Sureanu mountains from the terrace. There is a playground for the kids indoor and also one outdoor. It was very clean, and the Weithers were friendly.  For those that will stay overnight there is also a spa and swimming pool area. 

Good food and service. Greate place to escape the city.

I visit that location with my family and we are very happy because there is a place for playing children and a nice swiming pool. Is a clean and warming host for all the people. The food is good and the terrace is with a mountain view.

Nice place for relaxing

The scenery is breathtaking, the silence is overwhelming and you can hike as much as you like without having to change the hotel. The food is good and the people are friendly. The only thing difficult is to get there because of the long and rough road.

Relaxing vacation

We spent three nights and in the second day a group of very noisy people came to the restaurant and play their own music very loud - it was impossible to stay on the sunbeds in front of the hotel so we asked the staff to manage the noise. The staff asked us to go ourselves (!!!!) to speak to their clients and to notice them about the noise problem!!! They told us they cannot do anything!!!
So the very loud disco sound continue all the evening despite our complaint. Very sad about this experience and about the staff attitude in such a beautiful sorroundings.

Beautiful location, very disrespectful staff reaction

We have spent 2 nights there at the end of August 2017. Location is beautiful, rooms and hotel tastefully decorated, very clean. Great for families with little ones as they have a great outdoor play area, We have used the small swimming pool/ jacuzzi, we all enjoyed it. You need to ask the staff to turn the jacuzzi on. Food was very tasty and used local produce. we loved the wild mushrooms and the Sureanu cake/ pudding. Staff are very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was plentiful. Good value for money if you come from abroad. 
The area is great for walking. We climbed the Sureanu top with our toddlers and we foraged for billburies in the the forest. There was a bikefest event on so m mountain biking is good activity. Winter time there were some small ski slopes.

We loved it

Nearby OAŞA lake (16 km) in Şureanu moutains in a beutifull glade (Poarta Raiului) at 1.550 meter. In this glade its only 4 resorts- 1 hotel, 2 pension
and 1 chalet. Acces from national road must be with offroad car or heavyroad car for forestroad acces. The place its most beutiful. The host of pension its very nice whith guests. Don't hesitate or not forgett in the morning (breakfast) to order lunch meal like oven dear or wildpork! Its verry tastefully. Try cake of the day whith forest fruit!
