Very nice and welcoming owners.
The view is great and very quiet.
Food is very good and tasteful.
Access road is a little bit hard but still worth it, the rooms are a bit small but satisfying the experience is what matters here and mine was very good.

Great for escape

I spent a fabulous weekend at the end of septembrie 2019 in this amazing location together with my wife and friends.
The hosts were very kind and  friendly,the food natural and tasty ,the view unique.You have that feeling you're like visiting good friends living in a spectaculos place.
You can fishing ,hiking or enjoing the nature.
I'll surely return  to taste the grilled trout and the amazing cake  with mascarpone and cherries.

Amazing location, special hosts

Beautiful sight of the lake and surrounding mountains, quite place, home made delicious food, nice playground for kids inside/outside of the property. Lucian, our host and the staff were very nice and attentive during our stay.

Access road very steep, narrow and bumpy at the top (ok for 4x4), room needs some snagging here and there, kids playing outside afraid of the energetic dog, Philip otherwise  a lovely dog. Lack of sport activities like mountain bike, caiac, ATV, horse riding etc (no renting available at the property or nearby).

Fantastic sight of Bicaz lake

I was guest for a night to this Pension, in June 2018. 
Access road is poor, in case of a rain it is challenging you to get in and out.

Positive:
-	Lake and mountain view;
-	Quiet place, far from road and closer to lake;
-	Good traditional Romanian dinner (Tochitura, Dessert cake-home made);
-	Nice terrace and view to have your meal;

Negative:
-	Poor access road to pension, and hard access to lake, as well;
-	Basic rooms and small, including bathrooms;
-	Some unappropriated comments regarding us from owner;
-	Poor maintenance on back yard and dirty shore of lake;
-	In the morning for breakfast we ordered a Traditional Romanian Plate, but we received just 1 item (pastrami) – owner said other items were over (sausages, bacon, cheese, etc.), but he didn't informed us when he got ordered and charged us on full amount – not a big deal few dollars, but not correct.

Personally, I will never return to this place, it's not worth the money paid.

My experience to Pension Lostrita

The place is amazing with lovely people and amazing view. The food at the restaurant it's very good. The access to the lake it's not so easy but it will be compensated a beautiful wild view. I will return to this place and I recommend it. 

Lovely place

Spent a night there 2 weeks ago. It's a fantastic place, right near the Bicaz lake. Near - meaning just a few meters away. The rooms were fine, the food was superb and the staff was truly nice and welcoming.

Very nice accommodation. The owners are very kind and friendly. Great, great, great food: fresh trout, milk from the village, great pies, big quality romanian plateau. Also a great view over the Bicaz lake. All this at a very fair price!
