Victoria Hotel

Less than 5 weeks after my previous stay I decided to return to Hotel Victoria, this time booking 5 nights stay. I booked the same type of room (executive apartment) like last time and this booking gave me room 201 at the second floor of the hotel. As always, the accommodation at Victoria is an excellent value for money option. The 30m² apartment has a very large living room maybe with a little bit old fashioned deco but lots of space if you want to relax or work and a very spacious bedroom, with an incredible comfortable bed and lots of storage space. The bathroom was spacious as well and very modern with a huge jacuzzi bath and normal amenities for 4-star hotel. The level of cleanliness of the room and entire hotel is extremely high, especially during the Covid19 restrictions and the housekeeping team deserves a genuine recognition for their hard work. Another strong point of Hotel Victoria, or maybe the most important one, is the incredible level of customer service: from front desk team to the management, everybody is genuine, helpful, intuitive, and pro-active transforming a short or a long stay in a “home away from home” experience. Nothing is too much and the way how every request is answered is a solid proof that the customer is the hard of the entire philosophy of this establishment. On my previous stays and reviews I always found the breakfast experience to be the weakest link at Victoria Hotel. Despite of an excellent service provided in the restaurant the actual product was far behind the expectations of the4 stars hotel. Last time, facing a mediocre breakfast I made some suggestion to the management regarding a possible solution for a decent breakfast during the Covid19 restrictions. I was extremely surprised, in the most pleasant way, when I saw during my recent stay, that not only my suggestions were taking in consideration but, the team went above my expectations. Respecting the new rules and regulation every morning offers 5 flexible options: French, Romanian, English, Fresh and Continental with quality products which compliment perfectly the friendly and professional service of the restaurant’s staff. Hotel Victoria will always be my choice of stay in Pitesti, as a place where a genuine and professional team and a great value for money match perfectly a decent, comfortable accommodation for business or pleasure.
