Nice little 3+ stars hotel right on the Danube. Spacious rooms with balcony frontally on the river, decent  bathroom with amenities, swimming pool, restaurant with traditional homemade products, easy access from the road between Orşova and Eselnita. 

A gem right on the Danube

Large room, tasty food, generous parking (very important in this region due to the landscape), interesting boat trip on Danube. Courtyard well-arranged. Very friendly and prompt staff. Reasonable price for the services offered.

Excellent services

We were here for 3 days and we loved it. The location is great with amazing views. The room was big with very confortable beds. Food was good, lots to choose from. Staff members are very friendly. The place is clean. Pool was awesome. I recommend this place 100%.

We will come back

Ate a couple of times there. Nice, decent food since there was nothing ok in Eselnita (no good reviews in the area) they have open food bar begining 19.00. Nice fish soup, nice crap prajit :) I saw there was a pool too and big enough parking space (also a problem with parking in the area of Eselnita)

Nice, decent food

Long weekend with friends at the Danube - location of choice Danubia. Was it worth it? 
Follow me on this review and lets see: 
- location - in Eselnita at the main road side you will find this hotel - Pensiunea Danubia. 
parking free of charge in the parking lot at the roadside. Easily fitting 30+ cars and even a bus if needed. 
Nice terrace right near the Danube - so you can enjoy a beer in the shade with a view.
They have also a small pool in the garden but this time it was empty due to refurbishment activities. I bet it is nicer with water in the pool.
Rooms are split between 3 and 4 star - I had a 4 star room. 
- room - very spacious , balcony overlooking the Danube, nice view in the morning and also through the day. Bathroom with shower booth - clean and arranged with everything you need - hair dryer included. 
- breakfast - buffet, very nice, variety of regional specials and classics like scrambled eggs also on the menu. 
- dining - we had the half board deal with dinner included in the price. Buffet dinner great : fish , grilled trout , fried fish and also chicken or pork if you feel like - side dishes from fries, polenta , vegetables- everybody could get what they wanted. 
- service - checking in went smooth, fast and efficient same for the check-out. Restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. 
- prices - mid range - overall not bad, but I've seen better. They take credit card too.
Warning: 
- when you arrive select mobile network manually since the Serbian relays are stronger and on automatic you will be in roaming through Serbia - and the prices for that roaming is at least said expensive!
Overall - very good stay, very nice place I recommend you try it.

Very good week-end at the Danube

The location is on the Danube and with a very nice view. The rooms are big and clean and all the rooms have view to the river.
The boat trip organized by the hotel and which costs 50 lei/person was nice and it included all the objectives from this part of Danube.
I scored with 3 from 5 because of the food: we were forced to take 2 meals and the dinner cost 60 lei/person with no drinks included. It is not about the price, but it is about the food which was not made there except the grills. They bring the food from other restaurant or canteen and even I consider it horrible. 

Nice location with horrible food

The yard is beautifully landscaped with plants, trees and shrubs. The pool is beautiful and clean with many sunbeds. The terrace is spacious and arranged by the water, with a wonderful view.
The interior of the room is decent, but with various problems / deficiencies (bulbs that did not work, sockets removed, surface cleaning in the bathroom).
The biggest problem, however, is with the food which, apart from the fact that it was expensive (50 lei / person for a buffet style meal) was also of at least questionable quality. Except for the meat that was grilled on the spot and you knew it was fresh (although it was marinated in something and didn't have the meat taste you are used to, so you didn't even know if it was really fresh), the rest of the food or you can see that it is extremely cheap (some cheap cookies probably bought in bulk, cheese bought at large calves), in insufficient quantities (one apple and one orange cut into slices on a tray; I have never seen anything like this) or you can see that it is food made from leftover food at the other tables (meat reused in other ways: minced and made small / small stews, grilled from the grill left a day ago). In conclusion, you paid 50 lei / person, but you only ate maximum 10-15 lei, because the rest was terrible.
Overall extremely low quality / price ratio. I do not know how it is at other pensions / hotels in Eselnita, but here I do not recommend anyone to stay.

Don't go there!

My daughter went on a school trip to this area and stayed in this hotel. Knowing that they will receive about 40 kids, the staff emptied the swimming pool (even pulled up the ladder) but did not secured it whatsoever. The swimming pool is located in the garden, unprotected, so while the kids were playing, one of them (my daughter) fell into the empty (approx 1.80 - 2m deep) pit. Her injuries were serious but not life threatening, so we were very lucky that this not turn into a drama. True that kids should be careful, they usually are, however, being a public place, security measures need additional attention. The cherry on the top of the cake was the unfriendly & un-helping staff members. They did not help at all, other than finding and bringing the ladder so that the teacher (who jumped in the pit) could climb out of the pull.
