Place is really nice you have the view, too bad service is terrible. We paid for the room and owner said he will leave us the change on the desk, but this never happened . And it wasnt too little either. We never left a tip because of his attitude and the way he treats his guests. We wont come back ever.

Nice place bad owner

Last autumn it was again that time of the year when me and some friends were traveling to the Danube Delta and we were in need to stop for the night - so we did and the place of choice was this guesthouse. 
Location - right by the national road 73A , you enter a courtyard where you find the parking lot. The building is like 200m from the road so is no noise from the traffic. 
Behind the place is a small creek and on the other bank is the forest - so it is close to nature, if you like that. 
The guesthouse has several rooms and each room with a shower to it - so it is convenient. 
Room - clean - bed was not perfect but enough for 1 night sleep we needed.  Bathroom clean - towels supplied clean and smooth , warm water available in the evening and in the morning , shower booth kind of small. 
No restaurant on the premises but they do serve a basic breakfast with eggs and cheese and some salami ... so basic but enough and coffee or tea. 
They got a bar so if you care for a beer you can get it. 
They have a pet policy so highlight that when you book the place. 
There is a games room at the lower level where you can hang out and also have a beer since the beer fridge is at hand there. 
The courtyard is great for those with kids and a lot green area so that's a plus for sure. 
Overall - nothing fancy, but I knew that when I booked - it does serve a purpose so overall if you do not need anything special - just a bed , shower and a breakfast in the morning that's the place for you, indeed it is average but it for us it has been more than enough.

Basic Bed and Breakfast

We spent three nights in the Georgescu boarding house. From the first minute we felt very welcome. The room, the house and the surroundings are very beautiful and we were able to relax very well. We took excursions to Raznov himself and Brasov. We had very nice conversations and dinner together with the very dear hosts and other tourists. Absolutely recommended!

Wonderful Pension in the Untouched Nature

Clean, free internet, free parking, everything exceptional, nice view, good food, nice people, kids playground, big rooms, really comfortable and cosy. Have spent three days, good bed, great bathroom.

Very good place

First of all, the place looks quite alright. It has a small creek nearby with a bench next to it where you can drink your coffee in peace. I think this was the only good part.

Now, where should I start with the bad ones.. The owners are a couple in their 50's, I think. The lady is very nice and sweet, but her husband is annoying and rude. In the first 5 minutes that I got there he didn't even say "Hi" and started asking me all sorts of personal questions that I wasn't comfortable answering a person I just met (or actually didn't) a few minutes before..

Moving past that, the room is nice, but the king-size bed in the double rooms is actually two small twin beds joined together with a gap between them and a blanket in the gap. That is very uncomfortable if you want to sleep/spoon with your partner.

Next is the shower pressure, or the lack of it, to be precise. I've told them 3 times about this problem, they said they'll fix it, but it only worked ok for 5-10 minutes, and then it was again at 10-20%. It took forever to take a shower. You can forget about washing your hair.

The biggest problem of all was the noise. The gap under the door made us feel like the persons in the hallway or in the hallway below our room (where the reception is) were RIGHT NEXT TO US. There were some children, playing and screaming, when we were there and we could not sleep properly. 
So until they fix the sound insulation with the doors and install a new door at the end of the stairs that connect the hallway where the rooms are with the hallway where the reception is, I would not recommend going there if you want to sleep well and get some rest.

Could have been better, but it sure wasn't

Really good accommodation. Rooms are very clean and the house looks great. Friendly owner willing to share stories and facts about the area. There's bio food for breakfast from the nearby farms. Overall, a big thumbs up.

On my way to Piatra Craiului

First of all everything good you read about this pension is a lie... no heating at -25 Celsius, owner lying to us the the central heating unit doesnt have the power to heat the whole house... well, one week vacation was a disaster. Around 10 dogs, some of them wild... avoid going there...

Terrible!

Worst vacation ever. A group of families, some with small children. No heating over night. The owners have 10 big dogs and only 2 of them are friendly. On our last day of vacation one of us were bitten. Horror vacation!!! Stay away!
