The owners are very friendly and helpful, perfect for a holiday with children, even babies. 
The food is delicious, everything is prepared inhouse and all the ingredients are carefully chosen.

Great experience

We arrived after a very hot day of cycling to a great welcome and a jug of homemade strawberry lemonade (that kept refilling). Building is made of wood, and rooms are clean, comfortable and a good size with a balcony overlooking stunning countryside. A real highlight was the dinner the host made, from their own small holding (we saw them pick it) and made a delicious meal accompanied with homemade red wine, plum schnapps and cherry liquer - and sitting outside with the scenery and the silence was perfect. Breakfast was also great with homemade dips. Highly recommend a stay here, and if you just want somewhere to chill and relax - this is THE place.

Unexpected gem in Romania

We booked 2 rooms at Bio Haus Cioran for 2 nights one week ago. Owners are very nice people offering us as welcome treat cold lemonade and visinata (local schnaps)
both very good. A very very nice and gentle dog John always welcoming us, asking for attention and caress. We stayed in one of the rooms with walls and ceilings made of wooden paneling. Enough space, cleanliness, good mattresses, basic bathroom equipment. One evening we had dinner at the property, very good vegetables soup, second course also good and plentiful. We choosed this location for an event I really want to recommend to all the people comming in this area from April to September, organised each week end. I don't know if I'm allowed to say the name of the association that organizes these events, but you can ask the hosts about, sometimes they are such hosts in their yard. It's all about good healthy local food, very nice people, and very nice experience.

nice people warm welcome

Having cycled some distance in the hot sun we were greeted on arrival with a welcome jug of homemade lemonade.  Nothing was too much trouble for our kind hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.  We sat out on the porch unwinding and relaxing with a beer, observing the goings on at this smallholding, including hay making the traditional way with scythes.  Later we were served an excellent meal prepared from local produce including the wine, delicious cherry brandy and schnapps, all to the sound of cuckoos and whilst gazing over the landscape.  Bliss.

Bliss

Four of us stayed here on our cycling trip in Transylvania.  Being met with a large jug of iced elderflower cordial, was just the beginning.  Rooms are fine, generous supper and ask and you can buy his delicious red wine, dinner came with complimentary cherry brandy - all delicious.

Set in the hills with lovely garden and hammocks to loll around on, balcony from your room and efficient wi-fi

Warm welcome and generous hosts

I had the pleasure of staying a weekend here, enjoying the local scenery and the excellent cooking from Pension Bio-Haus.

Internet worked perfectly fine, it was very warm, everything, from my point of view, was perfect as we had a little bit of snow as well to enjoy.

We rented out all the villa with 5 other couples, all of us having babies under 3 years old.

Highly recommended!

Very pleasant stay with my family

We've been there for a second time (definitely it won't be our last time :D), in July this time and again we simply loved spending some time in that quiet, calm, green and beautiful area. The couple owning the place is just amazing: very helpful and always in care not to miss something you might need (without being intrusive); the service is great and the breakfast is one of the most complete I've had in this kind of places (you will be served only with traditional Romanian dishes; some of the ingredients, fruits or vegetables are grown in their own farm); the rooms are very clean as well.
