Amazing place, nice, pleasant and kind staff. The hotel has the best location possible right in the center of the city and the building itself is an old house which was repurposed and transformed leeping the old architecture alive, rooms are spacious one disadvantage is the lack of an elevator.

Great hotel!

The hotel is very well located, right in the heart of Sighisoara. The staff is professional, the hotel room is clean and spacious. Cleaning services 10/10. Totally recommend! Also the price is great for the value of the hotel. We were surprised by the rooms, because on booking the photos are old, furniture is different now.

Excellent

Location: in the heart of the old town. (20-30m aways from the Clock Tower).

Rooms: nice and cosy, very well heated. If you're at the third floor you can see the roofs of surrounding houses.

Staff: nice, polite.

Food: reasonable international selection for breakfast, tasty food for dinner.

Room facilities: fridge, cable tv, small toiletries and other common items. I didn't notice any safe-box.

Overall the hotel is nicely decorated, with small display areas in every corner, like in a museum. There's an ATM in the hotel lobby.

Wi-fi: good signal and speed for common things like social media, email, browsing. Didn't try video streaming.

Exceptional location and staff

Great experience! Very good location, the view is amazing. The hosts are very nice and kind, if you need anything you can ask them. They have delicious food. Here you cand find a nice gift shop with handmade soap and special honey.

We also stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour and commend G on finding and choosing such an interesting hotel! Super cool place and great atmosphere with lots of old world charm. Very easy to let your imagination run wild, felt very cozy and homey. Nice area in the back to sit with a drink or have your breakfast in the morning. The breakfasts were very hearty and a good selection of items. The room we had was HUGE and over looked the street which was great and the windows opened and was nice to sleep with them open at night, there was NO street noise. Beds were super comfy too. All the staff we encountered were super nice and very friendly. Nice little shop at the front of the hotel in one of the side rooms that had an amazing selection of chocolates, I regret now not getting any, guess I will just have to go back.!!

The hotel is historic and full of character so no lifts or air conditioning but large fans in the room

Wonderful location

This hotel is right in the middle of the old walled city of Sighisoara, on the main square and just a 2 minute walk from the Clock Tower.   There is no parking for guests in the Old Town, so you'll need to be dropped off with your bags, or you'll need to walk up the hill from the parking lot below the town with your bags.

The boutique hotel is in a historical building that oozes charm with its exposed wooden beams, brick archways, and original German murals.   There's no lift, so ask for help with bags if you need it. There is also no individually controlled air - they turn on the central heating when it's cold, and they provide fans in the rooms when it's warm (or you can open a window). 

We had a double room with two twin beds, and it was a very large room for European standards.  The furniture is a little more modern that what appears in some of the photos here, so I'm guessing there have been some improvements in recent years.   There was a small wardrobe, a desk with small flat-screen TV, and a mini-bar.  I didn't see a safe, but maybe I missed it.  

The bathroom was the biggest problem with this room - and I'll give the caveat that every room in this hotel is different, so this may have been unique to our room.   Compared to the size of the room, the bathroom was absolutely tiny.  The sink had storage above it, so that was helpful - but the shower was horrendous.   I'm a world traveler and have been to a LOT of hotels, and have never had a shower this small.     The pre-fabricated stall was absolutely tiny, and there was NO shelf to put toiletries - so you had to put them on the floor.  But the stall was SO tiny, you couldn't bend over to pick up the items on the floor.   And the shower doors kept coming open, letting all the water out - so there was then a lake of water on the floor.   It was a horrible experience.   I would highly recommend the hotel add a couple shelves in the shower, first of all, and second -  make a bigger shower stall!  There is room for a bigger one.   It was also fairly awkward that there was a window in the door to the bathroom.  It was frosted, but still -- why?  Nobody needs a window to a bathroom. 

The WiFi was complimentary and worked well.    

The breakfast buffet was minimal, with meats/cheeses, bread, cold cereal, and some scrambled eggs and sausage.    The breakfast room was interesting, and doubles as a restaurant at night.  

There's a nice outdoor patio which is covered in vines and has good ambiance.   It's a bar at night, and overflow for the restaurant in the peak season.  

The souvenir shop in the lobby was never open - we would have liked to have visited it (it's likely owned by someone else, just renting space in the hotel).

Charming hotel in Old Town

Great hotel in the historic Sighisoara Fortress neat the main square Piata Cetatii. Great staff, very helpful, rooms are huge, and they have an awesome breakfast buffet with lots of great Romanian dishes. The hotel is in a historical building so it does not have an elevator and the rooms do not have AC, but the location, the accommodations, and the staff are great, so, I recommend it.

Hotel in the middle of the Fortress

I cannot comment on the restaurant, as I never ate there. I did stay a couple nights at the hotel, which was a really cool hotel! Rustic, old-fashioned, charming decor, a hotel from older times. Wood floors in our room, with paintings on the walls. Hot showers in a decent sized bathroom. Quite night's sleep, despite our room overlooking the main thoroughfare road in the old town. Breakfast was good, had a standard selection of food one would expect in a European country. Cereals, eggs, meats, cheeses, coffee, tea, orange juice, milk, fruits, etc. Location is excellent - it's right in the heart of the old town. There's a restaurant on site, with what looked like a nice terrace area, plus there's a large gift shop. Didn't talk much with the Staff but they looked disinterested in my patronage.

Overall a good experience.

Loved the hotel!

My friend and I slept here one night during our trip in Transilvania. The room was really spacious. Huge bed. Really comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. A lot of choices. We really recommend this hotel!
