There are only 2 floors, each floor has one double room with a balcony (1 x double bed) and one apartment with a balcony (up to 5 persons). We suggest booking the apartment to possibly avoid noisy families on your floor. We stayed in the double room on the second floor and heard the kids next door screaming upon entry and exit of their apartment. It sounded like they were bouncing off the walls once inside their apartment. Our request to be quieter fell upon deaf ears. 

The bed was comfortable, the furniture was in good condition and the shower was good. Beware if you have mobility issues, there are many stairs to reach the front door and 2 flights inside if you are on the second floor.  


So clean and it smelt nice.

We only spent two nights at this hotel but wished we could have stayed much longer! Spotless place, sparkling clean, quiet and airy. The whole place has a nice interior design, elegant yet simple. The room was nice and cosy, with a fantastic balcony facing south. We also enjoyed the lounge area and its lovely terrace. Excellent location too, half-way between the Castle and the centre. Easy access, both by car and on foot. We felt that the staff was genuinely friendly, never intrusive but always helpful. Many thanks again, La Monitori, keep up the good work!

Beyond expectations!

We had the winter suite. The apartment is big enough. It has a kitchenette and you could ask from the kitchen, plates and everything you need. The view was great, it was wery warm inside and cozy, wery clean. We had a great time, hope to return soon.

Perfect family weekend!

The rooms are big, well designed and most important, clean. The view is excellent. It is a quiet place, so it is ideal for resting. We also opted for breakfast and we didn't regret it. Food is cooked on the spot and tastes great.

We loved it

I love it, mamma mia che Hotel! I can't even put a single stick in it. Cleanliness, super coquette, very neat, the rooms are a gozada, good bed. The balcony is stunning, its views are wonderful. A paradise and a quiet retreat (with only one noise).

El Refugio en la Montaña is a refuge in the mountains.

We stayed here for 4 nights last November. A very neat, clean and functional room. A delicious breakfast, complemented by delicious local cheeses, in addition to homemade cakes. The very welcoming owner, but the lady who served us breakfast impressed us with her kindness and cordiality. Should I return to Sinai, I would know where to stay! It's a beautiful B&B.

- The staff is very kind
- The villa has only three parking places
- Very clean rooms  and they are furnished in a contemporary style
- The camera has a very spacious balcony with a pretty sight toward the mountains
- The breakfast is very rich and tasty
- The villa is located near enough to the Peles Castle and the center, if you are lovers of walking you can visit them by step

Nice and cozy

We were ther in september 2017. The rooms are large and clean, the staff is extremely friendly. The location is administratedf by it's owner so this is another plus from my point of view.
The are only 4 rooms so you have to book eraly if you want to go there.
The breakfast is not included in the room's price but can be added on site, something that I recomend. The food is very good and fresh.
I recomend this location with all my heart.

Great location

La Monitori is a the best choice where to  stay in Sinaia.
The staff was very nice helpful, the breakfast delicious, the room large, very clean and  comfortable with large balcony and nuce view over houses and forest. It's very close to town center and Peles Castle,about 15-20 minutes by foot. Also they have parking places.

Best place to stay in Sinaia

We stayed in this villa for a weekend, we were pleasantly surprised by the warmth of the staff, and we liked the apartment so much we booked it at a great price for our family of three people. Everything very clean, an abundant breakfast, the location, complete the description of this villa.
