I enjoyed my stay - the owners very nice and friendly and the garden of this B&B, without breakfast - but by the look of the hotel would qualify it as such - was an explosion of colours and very nicely aligned to this Black Sea - Danube Delta Resort Town, Sulina. They also have a small bar/restaurant can can cook for guests, especially fish. I actually enjoyed the sweets. As per the room, it was solidly comfortable, with air conditioning. There are frequent min buses to the beach every 15 min or so, for a low nominal fee and a cab will charge the equivalent of 2-2.5 USD. Sulina is a wonderful place, away from the tourist traps of Constanta area and definitely with more interesting things to do as exploring Sulina and its history, as European Commission of the Danube's former location, trips in the Delta, and just relaxing in a quiet enchanted garden by the sea - as opposed to boom boxes, restaurant and disco hoping of Mamaia and the resorts more to the South. The better choice for the American and Canadian tourist who likes the Cape Cod or Block Island type of place and experience.

Enjoyable stay

For what I expected it was far too low. The rooms are just two feet larger than the beds, almost got claustrophobic. Very small rooms. Air-conditioned is individual for each room but too noisy, you can't sleep with it on. And the "apartment" where we stayed with the children you had to get on a wooden ladder to the next floor passing through the kitchen. Really tough setup. The worrisome thing was that the hotel has on the fridge an advertise that the hotel has not complied with fire safety regulations. No wonder, when you see so much wood around and no safety ladder. I made my own plan though in case of the fire I take the kids on the balcony, on the tin roof of the outside kitchen and jump in the neighbour's yard. I was very relieved when I left. I know the owners are doing the best but I would not go there again if they paid me. And I didn't understand exactly what was the kitchen usage policy because the owner she said that we can cook something but not everything, kind of she decides how much we cook or what...really grey area...we got all the meals in town for that reason except breakfasts. Again I would not go there again if they paid me.
