We enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was quiet, and the hotel has also a restaurant were you can eat. The food was very good and fresh and the staff Very friendly. The garden view was absolutely lovely. Unfurtunately the room was a little bit Too Small, my husband hurts his knee în The bed because of the Small space between the Window and the bed. Also we didn't have any refigerator în The room. Beside this things it was a nice hotel and we recomend it.

Very nice

In a small road near to the old center of Turda, Pensiunea Edy is a place where you can stay a night in your way visiting te beauty of the center of Transilvanya. The Salt mine in Turda is at 5 minutes to walk and the Turda gorges at 20 minutes to drive.
Pensiunea Edy offer a variety of local food, in a traditionally way.
I recommend the restaurant and the rooms.

Not so small as you guess from outside 

The hotel over all was great. Room was excellent as were the gardens. Restaurant was only used for breakfast. Simple breakfast but unfortunately the extra charge for coffee was an unwelcome surprise. WiFi needs sorting. Besides in reception it wasn't available. Staff were great and helpful.

Good but needs finishing 

(+)No matter what the minuses were, they were exceeded by the special quality of the staff. We had some difficulties in certain problems but they were always very kind and helpful. 
(-) In the wooden rooms the walls are very thin. There is no fridge in the room, not matter where it is located. In fact, the rooms are basic amenities. Maybe here it should be  improvedYes, I think the staff is insufficient. When there are 1-2 events, to work with the same staff as during the week when you have a few guests, and for this reason you cannot ensure the à la carte dinner, for example, is a little unpleasant.

Normal services, rooms that need improvement

The room is clean, the food at lunch and dinner is good, the garden is nice, the playground OK and the personal is kind and supportive.
Things to improve:
The breakfast is limited and most of the food looks like cheapest products from cahs & carry. Moreover, the coffee needs to be paid separately, which is quite avaricious taking into account the price.
Parking places are limited.

Good place to stay but some things need to be improved

I spent one night here. The room was ok, but nothing special. One inconvenient for our stay was that there were some constructions taking place. Maybe in some other timing it would have been better. The breakfast was also good.

Good place to stay

We booked 6 rooms for 13 person. We have arrived at night. They said that there are only 5 rooms for us for 10 person. We paid for the rooms in advance via booking.com. After one hour we got additional beds. But, they wanted to pay for 5 rooms for 6 room price. We asked discount becasue we did not want to pay for 6 rooms. The hotel owner loud and was unbilievable rude. She said that" you have to pay for 6 rooms now or get out!" Finally we left the hotel at 11 pm. Do not book room at this hotel!!!!!! 

6 szobát foglaltunk a booking.com-on 13 főre amit beterherhelt azonnal. Este 10kor megérkeztünk a szállásra. Kiderült, hogy nekik csak 5 szobájuk van 10 főre. 1 óra alatt sikerült nekik pótágyat szerezniük. Kértünk tőlük kedvezményt, mivel nem akartunk 6 szoba áráért 5 szobában megszállni. Ekkor a szálloda tulajdonos nő, elkezdett velünk üvöltözni, hogy mit képzelünk magunkról. Hihetetlen ez a hozzáállás egy vendéglátóstól. Megengedhetetlen stílus ez úgy, hogy ők hibáztak. Végén mondta a kedves hölgy, vagy azonnal kifizetjük előre a szobákat, vagy azonnal távozunk! 11órakor ott hagytuk este a szállást elveszítve 221 Eurót. Ezek után senki nem szállna meg ott! Mindenki kerülje el ezt a helyet! Nem vendég barát, főleg nem ember barát!
