The hostess welcomed us into a well-prepared environment with good quality food and generous supplies. The room was reserved for our group only (45 people). We had a pleasant evening.

Good quality

Our guide from this area, where he has friends, family and a home, wanted to introduce us to Sibiel, a village considered representative of the life of the Romanians in Transylvania. He had also taken our meal at the Cristina Pension which he knows well and where we were welcomed as friends by a very friendly couple. The restaurant was completely reserved for us and we were entitled to a special menu, which is traditionally served at Christmas in the area. In July, we had to drive it. Everything was excellent in quality as well as in quantity with natural products from the country, tender meats and tasty dishes, delicious dishes...etc.

A Christmas Party in the Valley

We were at a typical dinner in the area, and we must admit that there was a good atmosphere among the companions we went to, although the pensioners were a bit rude, they were on top of controlling what we drank and ate, but as I say we cape well to this subtlety, so it was a very pleasant evening.

Family business in the best sense of the word. Small rooms, rustic, very beautiful courtyard with rooftop terrace, large dining room. The family cooks very well, cares touchingly for their guests. You are not a stranger here, but a friend.

Family in the Best Sense

Best service, warm hospitality, lovely local food with self made wine and liquor, spacious and clean (bath)room with comfortable beds. No luxuries, but for the rest this family run accommodation has everything you could wish for. Situated in a peaceful small village and a perfect place for walks.

Romanian hospitality at its best

Pension Christina is a simple family accommodation with very friendly environment. Friendly family who are making our stay enjoyable. Excellent traditional food, different dishes every day. Basic bedrooms, yet clean and comfortable.

Perfect place!

If you want a taste of country life in Romania this is the place to be! Enjoy a Romanian dinner that only Cristian can make like this. The rooms are clean and cosy... It feels like home. The glass icons museum in the village is well worth a visit.

countryside life in Romania

Probably the best dinner of my trip to Romania... tasty, healthy dishes cooked with mastery... sausages melting in your mouth and a toast you'd never want to stop eating... and the typical snacks are no less.

Dinner at a delicious farmhouse

With the family, with an organized trip, we stopped for a dinner at Cristina's house. In the lovely room we tasted very well prepared dishes of Romanian tradition.
