A very nice place, clean pools, spa, playground, good food, kind people. You  can also do trips in the mountains and at the river. A beautiful location! We spent there five days and we will return for sure.

nice place to visit and stay.rooms are nice swimming pool and there is a lot of activities what you can do there.I also recommend the restaurant with good local food.
Also there is a nice adventure park, you can rent bicycles from there you can do many trips in mountains, so nice place to spend an entire week!

I spent 2 nights in the hotel for business purpose. Place in nice and relaxing. There is a pool outside and sauna inside. Rooms are big enough and clean. Daily cleaning is nit assured. I met friendly staff there. Food was tasty and served in open bar.

Relaxing place

We stopped for lunch in this place on late January. Though I can't rate the accommodation, I am entitled to state my opinion on the restaurant. The only good thing about the restaurant is the view. That's in case you catch a sitting at the window. Old tables, old tablecloths, not charming at all. We had to wait 50 minutes for our meals. The food was plain, not bad but not that great either. The place smells like a kitchen. You can see in the pictures that the cruet stand was quite rusty and that says everything about the lack of interest regarding client satisfaction.

Mediocre and poor

The rooms and food are ok, although overpriced compared to the rest of Romania. The resort is charmless, overcrowded and noisy, with very loud music playing continuously everywhere. The service is at best indifferent, tables at breakfast not being cleared from dinner the evening before, waiters chatting behind the bar and totally ignoring the customers, etc, with some employees being really rude. 2.5 stars 

Charmless and unfriendly 

Came here after a family hike nearby.

It took 30 minutes for the waitress to take our food order (we were lucky to order the drinks at the time she brought the menus).

After 40 minutes from the order the soups came. Kids were starving and the situation made us pretty upset. 

Food overall good and tasty, but service is a big problem at this location. 

Even the waitress took apologies for forgetting extra milk for coffee, bread and a juice, we felt sorry when we paid.

Maybe we had bad luck, but judging by the other reviews it looks like our situation was actually a "not bad" one.



Good food, terrible service

Good accomodation, good swimming pools, ok cleanness, acceptable food, waiting time for the arrival of the food order between 3-5 hours no matter how crowded it is. I do not recommend. A lose of time and money, but you can educate your patience.

The staff is very rude!
You will have to wait a long time for a simple breakfast.
They have high price range for what they offer!
I do not recommend the place!
They should change the staff to have a better business! 

Rude staff

I was visting Suncuis and stop to eat here, but the food has no taste , i order pasta carbonara and it was so bad! I don’t recomand it! 😞 my husband  order papanași and they also had no taste! Also we waited a long time! 

The food is awwwww

In august I was with my family, my husband and my son in vacation around Suncuius, we stopped at Casa Bucatarului where we had a bad treatment from the staff of the hotel, they were very mean, and the food was bad to. I do not recommend!
