I made a reservation for two rooms at Pensiunea Beatrice a month in advance, to be sure that we had the rooms booked when we got there. However, the lady owner called me after about three weeks and told me that we couldn't go there anymore, because they booked our rooms to a group who were taking several rooms there. I was very disappointed, and I told the lady, but she didn't care, she didn't even try to find us other place to stay nearby. She just told me she had booked our rooms to somebody else. I will never go there again, and I don't recommend this place, because the owners are not serious.

The owners are not serious!

Self catering place, all you need is provided! Clean and peaceful place and the owners are amazing people! A wonderful experience! We had a wonderful dinner and breakfast at their terrace and our little girl had a lot of fun playing at the playground!

Clean, coasy, peaceful

We've been there with our 3 year old kid and stayed for 3 nights. It was a very pleasant stay! The room was large enough for our needs and very clean, however the bathroom was rather small but well equipped. All rooms have a balcony with great mountain view. There are 8 rooms and downstairs there is a well equipped kitchen and plenty of space for eating (though we did not cook the food because there is a restaurant 50 m down from the villa). A great plus was the backyard space for kids which was really enjoyed by our daughter. Also, the hosts are very nice and helpful. There is a parking place in front of the villa (for about 5 cars) and during night the gate is closed. The city centre is rather close and affordable by foot and there are enough things to do in vatra dornei. 
Overall, a great stay and would return and recommend to others. 

Very good accommodation

I loved it. Pleasant looks from outside and inside. Especially inside. Good taste in everything. Very, very clean. Good facilities; large dining (big screen TV), large kitchen (two fridges) well equipped. The outside area is very handy. Really nothing to complain.

Over the expectations

We arrived late in the night (11:30 p.m.) after having had a flat tire in the middle of nowhere in pouring rain. The host was super helpful and hospitable, trying to make us feel as comfortable as possible. We had spoken on the phone and we told him first that we might not be able to come and might need to cancel the reservation. But we managed to change the tire and he waited for us and was very friendly despite the whole back and forth. Next day he helped us find a auto repair shop to deal with the tire. 

The room was quiet, warm, clean and elegant, with brown decoration and white bed linen. Especially after the cold evening, we felt very comfortable and relaxed there. On the next day there was a beautiful view on the snow covered hills and mountains from our balcony. The room had shower, TV and good WiFi. The price was 100 lei per night for the double room (around 22-23 €), so super good value for money. Food not included. However there was a fully equipped kitchen downstairs. We had our own food with us and made ourselves hot coffee and tea. The guesthouse is very easy to find, being near the main road.

The house also has a fully equipped kitchen which the guests can use.
It's easy to get to city center by walking.
We were able to park our car here.
