Me And My Family Were Going On Holiday To Venus, Constanta And Stumbled Across Hotel Del Mar. We Decided To Stay There For Three Nights And It Was Better Than Three Stars. The Front Lobby Was Amazing Including Design. The Hotel Has 2 Lifts And It Is Very Fast To Go To The Top. There Were 12 Floors And We Were Staying At The 9th Floor. Unfortunately The Rooms Were Small But It Did Fit Three People. You Have To Pay For An Extra Bed But Not A Lot. It Cost 50 Lei (£10) Per Night. There Is An Amazing Sea View From The Room We Stayed In And Got To Say Definitely One Of The Best Views From The Floor. The Decorations In This Hotel Are Very Good And I Really Loved It. The Staff Were Very Friendly And Always Said Good Morning, Good Afternoon Or Good Evening Every Time We Past By Them. The Restaurant Is Separate From The Building But It Takes A Couple Of Seconds Until You Get There. They Have A Buffet At The Restaurant And The Food Is Very Good And The Drinks Are Very Good. Del Mar Isn’t Far From Avanti Beach. You Get Key Cards And You Can Ask If You Need Extra (At The Front Lobby) You Get 2 Soaps In The Room Which Was Enough For Us. There Is A Parking Only For Del Mar Hotel Guests.

For Me And My Family This Has Been An Amazing.

Excellent Stay

Nothing special to say, clean rooms but very very tiny. The best thing is the fridge in the room. The prices seemed too me very high accordingly with the things offered. I'm not sure how is the food, as we didn't eat at this hotel at all.

Good hotel for a weekend

They refuse to give us 2 keys for the room which is absurd, they didn’t clean the room during our stay except from emptying the bin, very poor variety of food for vegetarians meaning we didn’t even have soups or deserts at all suitable for vegetarians, checking-in as late as 6pm.

Poor service

For 7 nights we received 2 soaps!!! When I asked for the reception, I was told that the soaps are just for welcome! After I threatened will say to Consumer Protection, I received a few more. Another negative aspect was that I was stolen from my face cream !!! Also nearness terrace where up to 12pm  sings with the given speakers at maximum !!!

Don't do it!

The hotel has somewhat recently furnished rooms and the bathrooms are refurbished, but it is cleaned by the eyes of the mother-in-law.  The chambermaid do not wipe dust off, basically they only use the carpet vacuum cleaner. We had to wipe the shelves of the wardrobe and the nightstands with the wet napkins. They did not change the bed sheets even though we had a 7-night stay. The towels changed them once, just after we left them on the carpet in the middle of the room. The restaurant does not offer you the possibility to order a la carte. It works like a self-service, with the same dishes every day, comparable to those in a communist canteen, and prices are two times higher than at nearby restaurants. Why? Because it belongs to a 3 * hotel? If you choose this hotel, you do not take a meal package, because you will get some monopoly-like value cards, which you can only use for their self-service and you will regret it. Obviously when you find that you do not want to eat there, you can not return the monopoly cartons to get the money back ... The only white ball can get this hotel is for the fast lift. Oh, and I was about to forget. Wi-fi very badly in both the room and the reception.

Unhappy experience

The hotel is located close enough to the beach. However, their services leave a lot to be desired. Very unfriendly staff. Only two soaps and shower gels as "welcome package". They didn't tidy up our bed at least once during our five-day stay. The restaurant annexed to the hotel has a self-service line and a terrace with à la carte menu, on the shore of the Razelm lake. The main problem is that the self-service prices (for breakfast, lunch and dinner) are exaggeratedly expensive, even for the tourist season (and, after all, it's a self-service!). It is preferrable to be waited on and enjoy a wood oven pizza on the terrace (their Quattro Formaggi is quite tasty), even if this involves tipping. Overall, one can find better options.

Not if you can help it

Small room, nice refurbished, clean, nice sea view.
The declared wi-fi does not cover superior floors (my room at 11th floor not covered and the receptionist announced the routers do not cover last floors).
The lobby bar not functional. You can not have a drink there at all. There is a terrace immediately nearby the hotel.
The only food you have out of the declared lunch times is pizza.
You have to pay each tea in the morning!!!And if you are not there early enough there is no lemmon.
You have to count the money for meals. They not have breakfast as sweedish buffet, so you have to count. They use a sort of ticket money as in monopoly game and normal money as well.
If you arrive in the last 10-15 minutes of the breakfast/ lunch / dinner time they say they are closed and you can eat a la carte and a la carte is pizza only.
They have groups and take care of them, not of all tourists. For instance they had 1!!!!! only 1 petson to serve more than 40 persons!!!
You can not have two acces cards per room. They say it is an economy class hotel , so there is one access card per room and you can let it at the reception or ask the cleaning personnel to open your room.

Short holiday - never come back here

The only positive thing to say about this hotel is that the room was more or less clean,but the personal is terrible, starting with the receptionist - a woman called IARINA with her sour face. Every employee of that hotel is sad and speaks bad with clients. The food is overpriced and bad cooked,not to say that on the fiscal tike you find another price then the one in the menu :(..I will never come here again in my life.
