They are very busy, food is great, it comes extremely quickly, but they never have room, if we called to make a reservation they told us that we must come here and wait. It's a nice place but you can't put someone to eat on the couch because they are only 2 persons. The staff is always in a hurry, we were ordering something to eat and in de middle of the order the waitress left us and came back after 2 minutes. We didn't finish the main course and one other waitress came with the desert. Ps. Try the Herrnbrau draft beer if you can find a free table.

They never have room 

We went there for dinner two days in a row after we discovered this restaurant. We asked to be seated outside, and we liked the garden and the lazy cats there :) The food was very tasty and service was great. They serve mostly traditional food, and the portions are big! Good value for money, I recommend this place.

Very nice place

Went for dinner at La Cassia last night with my husband and son. We asked for a chair for our baby, it took the waiters almost 30 minutes to bring it. They did seemed a bit overwhelmed with the amount of clients they had and I would suggest they hire more people( at least for the weekends). The food portions were huge, but food was mediocre. The best thing we had from their menu was the *jumări de porc* with freshly baked baguette. I would definitely return just for that.
We also had chicken soup, it would have nice if they would  have used proper pasta for soup, rather than linguine. The other 2 mains we had were decent, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Sitting at our table I noticed that a lot of people where not finishing the food on the plate, mainly because it was too much on it. To tackle the food waste, I would suggest to reduce the quantity and increase the quality.

Dinner at La Cassa

Good food, fine dining, traditional food, tasty, large portions. The rooms are very clean and cozy, bright and warm. The personal is very thoughtful, anyway five stars location! 
The desserts are a piece of heaven

Very beautiful place!

Pro :

Con : 
- No extra goodies in the room (no shampoo, tea, hair dryer,....)
- People from the hotel wear the mask under the nose
- We had a big bed with 2 mattress, was not comfortable and always falling between the both mattress

A good pension, i would go back for the breakfast and the garden with pleasure

It may not look much from the outside, but it was a lovely experience. The entire staff was incredibly kind (reception, restaurant, cleaning) and the foods and drinks were amazing. Affordable prices, awesome food and Romanian wines/cognac available. Nice terrace in the back if you visit in the summer and plenty of cats if you're a fan.

Best staff in a long time

I stayed here for 3 days with my sister and it was by far the highlight of our holiday.  The rooms are exceptionally clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly and a huge plus is that they keep a table reserved for you at the restaurant if you have a room booked.  The food here is amazing,  I had read the reviews before and it definitely does not disappoint.  We could barely finish the generous portions.  The staff can also recommend activities in the area and you will definitely not be bored with the picturesque villages and mountains.  There is a supermarket right next door and you are basically in the city center.  But you are in Maramures after all,  so if you walk half an hour you find yourself on a country road, hiking through the forest.  Highly recommended location!

Wonderful stay

We had a great week-end at La Cassa, the room was big and clean, breakfast included in the room price, various one. The staff was great. Every time I asked for something I received it. The food was delicious. For kids it is a big playground where parents can stay and relax.

Nice food with a small terrace

We had a lovely dinner here. The location and the design are certainly a plus for the place. It's difficult to find a table without a reservation. We tried to book one of day 1 with a couple hours before dinner and it was impossible, so we booked for the upcoming day. 

When we arrived we had to wait for abt 10 mins for our table to be cleaned. The service was fast and the staff were helpful. The food, however, was not hot enough and it was not really that tasty. A tad salty (I had pasta), while my boyfriend had some beef that could have been more tender.

The menu differs on a daily basis almost, they have dated printed handouts. Also, it is not varied, they only have a couple of meals.
