Krasnaya Pakhra Resort

I decided to write my review in english cause I met some foreigners in the hotel, so I think that my opinion might be useful for some people coming from abroad. 1. Location The hotel is situated at the very South of Moscow near Troitsk city that is called New Moscow Region. It will be convenient for those who arrive at Domodedovo airport or Vnukovo airport as well. There is no underground beside so You will need to get a taxi. 2. Infrastructure The hotel is situated in the very green area where you can go for a walk, visit a small zoo, play tennis, sit near small lake or listen to the birds in the forest. The hotel complex has a swimming pool, a medical center, a restaurant, a lobby bar, it offers also laundry services, there is an ATM. 3. Food&drinks The restaurant is open 3 times a day and offers dishes for different tastes. There are russian dishes of course, european (for example, italian pasta and rizotto, greek musaka), asian dishes (miso soup, tofu, rice). You can choose whatever you want: salads, cereals, soups, desserts, hot dishes. Once a week the wine is free there :) Also You can use a Room service for breakfast or order smth from Lobby bar during the day. 4. Medical center Amaks is very good for those who want to improve their health. Actually, that was my aim. It offers such services as massage, mud treatment, spa, physiotherapy, cosmetology and so on. There are also 3 swimming pools: one indoor for adults, second indoor for children, the third one is outdoor (it didn't work in spring). 5. Leisure time Every day the entertainment team will offer you a program with different activities (aquagym, cinema, drawing lessons etc). 6. Staff The staff is very friendly and helpful. I think some of them can speak english. 7. Tourists Most tourists are Russian who come to improve their health or just to spend good weekends. But I also met people from France, Germany and South Korea. 8. The whole impression The place seems to be very peaceful, quite modern, with good infrastructure. It reminds me some czech or hungarian resorts. Amaks combines a good level of european service standarts with the beauty of russian nature. 9. Disadvantages. I didn't find any significant disadvantages. Almost all problems I faced to were solved. However I'd prefer that there would be a supermarket at the territory of the hotel with affordable prices for water, juices, fruits and so on. There is one outside but You have to walk 20 min there.
