The hotel is well located for walking around Chita, including to the train station, main square, and lots of good restaurants. It is possible to pay a small charge for secure parking in the gated area at the back, which is watched by the security guards on CCTV. Rooms are clean, inexpensive, and fairly comfortable with working wi-fi, though they can get quite sticky even with the window open. There is a handy mini shop upstairs with drinks and food. They do visa registration here and it is worth noting that they specifically asked for a previous registration slip before they would check us in, which luckily we had a few of. Staff are helpful and friendly and as we liked it we returned here without hesitating a few weeks after our first visit, on the way back through Russia.
