Kazan Palace by Tasigo Hotel 

Kazan Palace by Tasigo is a hotel with impressive style. The property is set in what was apparently a former factory, and the common areas embrace this history with amazing loft-inspired design. The atmosphere is striking and full of character. The rooms, located in the building’s former administrative section, are very different — but equally impressive. They are spacious, with high ceilings, cozy comfort, and fully equipped with the amenities expected of a 5-star property: bathrobe, slippers, iron, and board. Unfortunately, other aspects of the stay don’t live up to the same standard. The breakfast was disappointing: uninspired food, lacking flavor, and closer to what you’d expect from a 3-star hotel than a luxury property. The service also felt unnatural. Staff seemed overly scripted and cautious, as if afraid to make a mistake. Instead of warm and genuine hospitality, interactions often felt robotic, which created a frustrating ambiance for guests. In summary: Kazan Palace by Tasigo is worth visiting for its design and the comfort of its rooms, but those expecting the warmth, service, and dining of a true 5-star hotel may leave underwhelmed.
