The Polar Star is my favorite hotel in Northern Siberia. The rooms are spacious, quiet, clean, and well heated in the winter. The staff was super friendly and spoke both Russian and English. They have a wonderful restaurant inside the hotel which features local dishes. The food was excellent. Overall, I give the Polar Star Hotel a 5 Star rating. By Gregg L. Friedman MD

I've been in Norilsk 2 - 3 times a year, for over 10 years. Hotel Polar Star, has become more modern and high-quality. Almost everywhere modern European repairs have been made (usb screens, LED light and plasma TV + satellite TV, warm and soundproofing windows, cleanliness and order).

The repairs have done their job.

There's a Stalin building, a massive entrance group, and inside everything is new and modern. The sanitation, the bed, all kinds of hat-toppers - all at the same level. Breakfast is limited in price, but the limit is enough in principle. If you decide to eat the most expensive thing on the morning menu - a sandwich with a shed for 350 rubles, then you'll pay whatever you want. And so are the eggs, cheese, pancakes, cashews. The girls at the reception are nice and understanding if the flight is delayed - and here it's a frequent story - they won't be expelled to the street.

The rooms are comfortable, the staff is adequate, they provide breakfast (not stupid), mineral water, there is wi-fi, for Norilsk, it's great, but there's a few floors being repaired, the rooms are not heard, but there's noise in the corridors.

Modern hotel of good quality. Fresh and cozy rooms:Equipped with a TV, minibar (empty:), wi-fi, responsive to the staff.

A very decent hotel.

The hotel has three restaurants in a row for every taste, pre-ordered, with a high demand for Norilsk nickel workers, optimal transportation access to the city centre, views of the Old Town and the Yaragla Mountains.

A hotel comparable to a good European middle class. Good restaurant, very friendly and available staff, spacious and clean room and bathroom.

Good hotel in the vast nothingness

Stayed here for two weeks. The rooms are very good and very clean. It is a very good hotel. The restaurant serves good food and  menus are available in English. The staff are very polite and helpful. I would definitely stay again. There is only one bad thing to say. The walls in my room must be very thin. You can here the people and the TV in the adjacent room very clearly.
