Gostinichny Kompleks "Chistye Prudy"

Stayed 3 nights at the end of a 2 week road trip. Weather was fantastic, so we could walk around the forests or swim all day in the massive lake with private beach in front of hotel, or use the indoor one (unheated, and no lifeguards to monitor swimmers). The chef cooked lovely food in the restaurant - sea bass, and pavlovo were delicious! Room was huge and comfortable, and very clean. In general starf were friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back again to rest for a few days. Now the negatives: the whole complex is slowly falling into neglect, broken tiles everywhere on outside areas, roofs, gardens have lovely flowers but are overrun with weeds,. On part of the site there is what's left of another camp area which looks like the remains of Chernobl. Great for photos, but should be cleaned up. Rooms are dated, for example, no plug sockets near beds. Breakfast is a disaster. It's a help yourself buffet, but the one young girl on duty didn't clean away tables, ensure enough foods were replenished etc. She just made herself a coffee and walked away somewhere playing with her phone. So, each morning if you weren't the first to arrive there was nowhere clean to sit, nor food left to choose from.
